Miykal-Li's Latest Creations (Updated 11/09/11)

Back Story

I've been building on Finnington (by Armiel) for about 6 months. I am slowly filling it with lovely families, beautiful homes, and extravagant community lots (although admittantly I do cheat and frequently use maxis premade community lots because I bore quite quickly of building them). Anyhow, I thought instead of making a new thread for each post I would just update here. Feedback is welcome and greatly appreciated! :)

11/07/11 - I began a blog for my creations to keep them more organized than I can here on a forum post. From now on when I update my blog with new uploads I will post them here with 1 or 2 screens, a link to the download on the exchange & a link to the blog post. The blog post will have more screens and a full description of the build as well as a link to the download on the exchange.

FAQ

What Expansions do you have?
I have all of them, up to & including pets & all stuff packs.

Can I install your creations without allthe SP's & EP's?
Of course you can, but I cant guarantee what the game might replace missing items with, or if they will be replaced at all.

What about CC? Mods?
CC - I have a few bought items out of the store, and some free to download items from the store. Otherwise no cc and I try my hardest not to let any of those items slip in to lots I upload :)
Mods - none. Been mod free since TS3 release.

Can I use your builds for challenges/stories that I post to the 'net?
Sure! I would be thrilled! I would love a link so I can follow along as well! And please, if you like my homes/builds give a rec! (They make me giddy!)

Do you play test?
Yes! I play test to varying degrees. Minimally I verify that everything is accessible and useable and that the layouts are easily playable without stomping sims or half of a sim day to navigate. Sometimes I actually play my homes and notice little things missing. Instead of re uploading the entire lot I will simply put what is missing in parenthesis beside the download link :) (usually ends up being a hamper/trash can/light/etc)

That home you built is really lovely! :)

Great idea with not having the CC or mods, it really helps things to run more smoothly when we download them! What expansions do you have, and will that matter if I download one of your homes?

I bookmarked this and look forward to what else you make!

Thank you :) I have all expansion packs (and updated the original post to reflect that) As far as downloading the lot without the ep's/sp's I know it's possible but I don't know what the game will fill the missing items in with.

Hope it's okay if I offer some advice. Your pictures seem really dark, so make sure you have good lighting in your rooms. Here are some links to help with your landscaping. Good landscaping can really put a house above the rest.

I use that all the time, idk where I would be without it. I hope I didn't come off as rude, just wanted to point out some things that could make your lot a little better. Keep building.

@Rawr2019 Thank you for the advice and for the link :)
I think im having graphical issues since installing pets I cant turn on "auto lights" etc so taking screens is slightly difficult ...and dark... as of late. Anyhow hopefully if they patch it that will fix the issue :) I will be sure to triple check lighting though! Thanks again!
