Oh my gosh, I LOVE Seasons. Everything's so realistic, they even have a weather forecast! lol I haven't gotten to winter yet and I was taking pics of the firefighters in their poses, but it rained all day and it was like 35 degrees. So I had to fast forward until it stopped raining, and it said that they were "frozen solid". I was like, holy crap I killed them! lol
But I am looking forward to the snow! I haven't played Uni much yet and I kind forgot about it. But OMG Seasons has to be the best EP yet!

Yeah, I graduated in December, it was touch and go. At the beginning of the semester I wasnt sure I would graduate, then I spent the time waiting for the axe to fall and some class to show up that I hadnt taken yet. Then I had messed up ankle to deal with, but I survived and managed to graduate.
I got University and Seasons, I like them both. Sometimes it feels like it rains too much in the game, then I disable the rain for a while. Uni was good, I really like the clothes and hair the most of anything. Going to college kind of feels repetitive sometimes, but its fun from time to time. Im on the edge of my seat waiting for Island Paradise, I think that is going to be the big expansion for me this year. Then next fall will be the time travel expansion, Im excited to hear more about, Im hoping for an uber cool, surreal futuristic type world for that one.

Hmm...I heard about Moonlight Falls but haven't had a chance to check it out. It's supposed to be the perfect setting for supernatural stuff. I'm hoping they'll have more beach/pool interactions with Island Paradise. There's really nothing for sims to do as a group, so even a beach ball would be fun. Wow, it looks like Sims 3 has already release more EP's than Sims 2, and they still have more coming. I'm hoping they're also include Open For Business. That will really add nice dimension to the game.

Thank you, Ayemee! This chapter was crazy for me to write. I know she should have been more strong and turned him away, but it also felt like it was time for them to finally get some type of closure. And strangely, I think this is helping her heal. You are right, they are soulmates. They had a family in a past life. And they will always be drawn back to each other until they learn their lessons.

I just thought of something! Is Lyn being punished in a way for what she did in her past life? In her past life it was Emma/Lyn who cheated on William/Brad. So is she getting a taste of her own medicine in this life because of what she did? I don't mean that in a horrible way coz I love Lyn but it was just a thought! Probably completely wrong:) lol!

-Flashbacks of Brad slipping out of her apartment made him punch the wall.
-She didn't know that Luke was getting ready to propose to her that night.
-She tried to calm him down but he threatened to physically hurt her.
-She conceded to what she did and told him she would deserve it.
-After he cooled off, old feelings resurfaced.
-He cupped her face and said, "And you're just as beautiful."

I knew you'd be shocked, and I was worried about your reaction. I didn't want Luke to sleep with Natalie, but I had to stay true to his character's motivations. No need to be sorry for the short comment, I'm just glad you still read the chapter and gave feedback. HUGS!

Ch. (37) Everything Changes
-Brad wanted to talk things over, so I let him in and gave him five minutes.
-I ended up letting everything out, letting him know about the pain
he put me through.
-I told him I needed him that night I had a miscarriage.
-I told him that I almost killed myself after I lost the baby
and caught him with my sister.
-I asked him what I ever did to deserve what he did.
-He said, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing."
-Even though offered to leave, I told him to stay.
-Despite my anger, I found myself wrapped in his arms, breaking down.
-He ended up throwing me against the wall and kissing me, bringing back
all of the feelings and desire I tried so hard to push away.
-Before I knew it, we started undressing each other.
-Despite my pleas for him to stop, my body was at his mercy.
"'Brad...' I whisper, as if verbalizing his name will snap me out of this spell he skillfully cast. Even when I try to convince myself that I hate him, that I should have never allowed things to get this far, my body betrays me."
That chapter was really brilliant. I think you've shown extremely well how anger can quickly turn to lust. I think those emotions can easily blend into each other. I'm afraid for Lyn. I really don't want her getting hurt again. I certainly would never be able to forgive a cheater. But at the same time the thought of losing someone who has become the other half of you, can be daunting and scary. I just hope she gets a happy ending. She deserves it.
Boy, everyone has been busy in the last couple of chapters, yeesh. I dont know how I feel about the possibility of Lyn and Brad getting back together, I think that although he feels bad about what he did, I still think that he may be too toxic a person for Lyn to get involved with again. When he was asking her about Luke, I couldn't help but feel that he had no right to be questioning her, they aren't still together and after how he acted she had every right to move on. Now as the story progresses, I question whether her and Luke are going to be together either, I think that everyone is messed up and has issues, and that they all need to get themselves together mentally and emotionally before any of them jump into another relationship. What a crazy story!

Bahaha! Especially after the last chapter from Heat, I don't blame you one bit! Oh, and you can blame this one on Brad. lol I agree that certain emotions can easily lead into another, especially when such betrayal happens to someone who still loves that person. Of course Lyn is angry at Brad, who wouldn't be? But what really threw her off was the way he owned up to what he did and how much he can still affect her sexually. In a sense, she's more angry at herself for her conflicting feelings and not having more willpower.
I know, I don't want her to get hurt again either. But she still loves him, and if she lets him back in her life, that is the risk she's taking. But like you said, their past life, sexual and emotional connection makes it very difficult for her to cut him off completely. She tried, but he found her again. Her happy ending? That remains to be seen. lol

I'm not even sure if he can ever pull himself out of the mess he created. He ****** up royally. He actually got lucky that Lyn didn't call the cops on him for showing up unannounced.

I just got Sunlit Tides, and I love it. It's so beautiful, and I love the island feel of the town. I'm thinking about getting Aurora Skies but gonna wait until I really need it for one of the stories.
Whoa we're gonna have a time travel EP? I didn't know that! I'm wondering how many EP's we're going to get before they start talking about Sims 4?
I love Sunlit Tides, I like that island type feel. I live in Ohio, which feels like it is worlds away from any type of tropical island. I love the sunnyness of that world, its why I dont particularly like Moonlight Falls, it is too dark and gloomy. Yep we have a time travel ep coming, but they havent given us any other information about that. If you watch the live chat that was posted today they give us more info about Island Paradise, The new world that is coming to the store and the movie themed stuff pack that is coming out in the fall.

Ch. 36 (Hello Like Before)
-Dr. Benson gave me a week to decide on the residency position.
-I had a dream of Emma spending time with her family at the lake.
-William asked if she was happy and she assured him that she was,
especially after she stopped the affair with Jesse.
-But she was not prepared to run into him at the lake after six months,
with a pregnant wife named Victoria.
-She also didn't realize how jealous she would feel at the sight of another woman with Jesse.
-It turned out that William was Jesse's lender when he purchased a house.
-Jesse said to Emma, "He should be my son" when he saw John.
-Every night, Emma would play "Somewhere In Time" on the piano while her family watched.
-Even her own family could not cure her of her feelings for Jesse.
-I woke up from the dream, only to find Brad at my door.

I stand there frozen, wondering if my eyes are playing tricks on me. Is he really standing at my door, piercing me with his pale blue eyes, with this excruciatingly sober expression on his face?"
Hmm...I heard about Moonlight Falls but haven't had a chance to check it out. It's supposed to be the perfect setting for supernatural stuff. I'm hoping they'll have more beach/pool interactions with Island Paradise. There's really nothing for sims to do as a group, so even a beach ball would be fun. Wow, it looks like Sims 3 has already release more EP's than Sims 2, and they still have more coming. I'm hoping they're also include Open For Business. That will really add nice dimension to the game.

Thank you, Ayemee! This chapter was crazy for me to write. I know she should have been more strong and turned him away, but it also felt like it was time for them to finally get some type of closure. And strangely, I think this is helping her heal. You are right, they are soulmates. They had a family in a past life. And they will always be drawn back to each other until they learn their lessons.
I just thought of something! Is Lyn being punished in a way for what she did in her past life? In her past life it was Emma/Lyn who cheated on William/Brad. So is she getting a taste of her own medicine in this life because of what she did? I don't mean that in a horrible way coz I love Lyn but it was just a thought! Probably completely wrong:) lol!
OMG, you are the first person to actually pick up on that. :shock: Considering how tuned into the details of the story you'd be to put that together, I didn't think it would ever happen. lol Wow, kudos to you Clairey! I don't know if you noticed, but Natalie also cheated on Luke with Brad. So yes, this is karma coming back.
Luke and Lyn learned to control themselves and not act on their attraction this time (stop at kissing). And this was mostly Luke since Lyn was ready to jump him. lol But Luke left again, just like Jesse, thinking he was doing what's best for Lyn. Now Brad's back. Will they repeat the same pattern? And that's pretty much what the last part of the story will answer.

:shock: Oh my gosh! It was just a thought that popped into my head, I didn't think it would be anywhere near right. And yes Luke is being punished as well by Natalie! Oh no, now I don't know if Luke and Lyn will ever be together. Karma can be a nasty thing to mess around with!
Ch. 11 (This Year's Love)
-Instead of slamming the door, Luke let Natalie in.
-She tried to make small-talk, but Luke told her to cut the crap.
-She admitted that she missed him and had to see him.
-Luke snapped when she tried to hold his hand.
-Flashbacks of Brad slipping out of her apartment made him punch the wall.
-She didn't know that Luke was getting ready to propose to her that night.
-She tried to calm him down but he threatened to physically hurt her.
-She conceded to what she did and told him she would deserve it.
-After he cooled off, old feelings resurfaced.
-He cupped her face and said, "And you're just as beautiful."

Yes, I was just as surprised that you picked up on the karma thing! But I agree, you definitely don't want to mess with it because it can come back much much worse. :shock:

-Brad wanted to talk things over, so I let him in and gave him five minutes.
-I ended up letting everything out, letting him know about the pain
he put me through.
-I told him I needed him that night I had a miscarriage.
-I told him that I almost killed myself after I lost the baby
and caught him with my sister.
-I asked him what I ever did to deserve what he did.
-He said, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing."
-Even though offered to leave, I told him to stay.
-Despite my anger, I found myself wrapped in his arms, breaking down.
-He ended up throwing me against the wall and kissing me, bringing back
all of the feelings and desire I tried so hard to push away.
-Before I knew it, we started undressing each other.
-Despite my pleas for him to stop, my body was at his mercy.

That chapter was really brilliant. I think you've shown extremely well how anger can quickly turn to lust. I think those emotions can easily blend into each other. I'm afraid for Lyn. I really don't want her getting hurt again. I certainly would never be able to forgive a cheater. But at the same time the thought of losing someone who has become the other half of you, can be daunting and scary. I just hope she gets a happy ending. She deserves it.

Bahaha! Especially after the last chapter from Heat, I don't blame you one bit! Oh, and you can blame this one on Brad. lol I agree that certain emotions can easily lead into another, especially when such betrayal happens to someone who still loves that person. Of course Lyn is angry at Brad, who wouldn't be? But what really threw her off was the way he owned up to what he did and how much he can still affect her sexually. In a sense, she's more angry at herself for her conflicting feelings and not having more willpower.
I know, I don't want her to get hurt again either. But she still loves him, and if she lets him back in her life, that is the risk she's taking. But like you said, their past life, sexual and emotional connection makes it very difficult for her to cut him off completely. She tried, but he found her again. Her happy ending? That remains to be seen. lol

I'm not even sure if he can ever pull himself out of the mess he created. He ****** up royally. He actually got lucky that Lyn didn't call the cops on him for showing up unannounced.
