Let's see your gardens (a picture thread)

My sim has the lifetime wish to have 8 different species of Perfect plant growing in her garden and it took me some time but here is my garden.

Also, here is my back orchard

So I wanted to see some of your gardens and also some funny stories while you were playing with your Green Thumb Simmies.

    Awww! They're so lovely!
I wish I'd taken a picture of my sim's garden in its heyday, but alas and alack, all of the plants have since died off since my sim expired. :(

 Why thank you. It took a lot of hard work. You know digging around in the dirt and planting all of those was pretty hard but I'm better for it now. lol

I love that we can move the plots around in build mode, I had quite the little display, especially when the flame fruit bushes were fruiting.

How long does it take you to harvest and weed?

Man, I really need a gardener...

    (Nice job, btw! )

NO WE CAN'T!!! Really??? Omg that would make my life so much easier. I ended up growing my special plants in between my trees because I ran out of room in the fenced in area. Thank you for the juicy tid bit! :D

Hmmm...well she starts at 6:30 7-ish and is done around noon. Not that long considering that she has no job b/c this was her lifetime wish.

Bwahahahah! Yes we can! I went to simmer heaven as soon as I figured that out lol!

And oh man, yes weeding and watering and plucking was taking my sim about... six hours a day? XP

My garden is a dead apple tree.
They die too easily. Much like my dreams /emo moment. (lol)

Yeah, I read that you could move the plots in build mode elsewhere and was like, WIN!

BTW, I happen to like your garden as well...and the lot too since my current Sim family are living there right now. :-)

You know, this quote coupled with the expression on your avi's face I'm afraid did make me laugh. I couldn't help it! 8)

Yeah, I ended up having to expand it though. It was a pretty small house.

Ok, now that's cool because that's almost what I also envisioned. That house seems a natural for a second story. Nice work. :-)

Awesome garden. You must have a lot of patience.
I also love the second story you added to that house. It looks a lot nicer.

Thank you very much! I love to put my families into pre-existing houses and then fix them up :-)

Here's Lilac's evil garden. She's progressively replacing standard crops with special plants, like the life plant and money tree. She hasn't had the chance to evilly decorate the garden, because she's saving money so her sister Violet can afford to buy the ambrosia cooking recipe.

It looks amazing! I did a double take when I saw it, because I thought it always had two floors, and then I remembered I have sims living in that house and it's only one floor.

I could upload mine to the Exchange if you would like. The only thing is that on my second floor I had two rooms as a bedroom and attached bath but then I converted it to a study with attached Tv room so it looks awkward but you could change it. :D

Sometimes she does that after she finishes, while cackling. She has a nicely evil voice while she's weeding.
