    I am so bummed. I was excited for Generations...But now today I find out I won't be able to play it! :(

      WIN/MAC=Windows and Mac

      Macs are still computers so any Sims game that is for computers is going to be on macs. (Unless something happens and macs become yet another piece of obsolete technology)

      And if you actually read the entire article it says that it is not available YET. So it will most likely be available upon release day.

      EVERY Single LAST EP EVER is WIN/MAC.

      All that means is that its for both.

      Uh.. the box clearly says winmac on it. Its for macs as well. Maybe there is a digital download version that is only for pc but the physical copy is definitely for macs just as the rest of the expansion and stuff packs have been.

      Well under The requirements, it says PC PACKAGED ONLY. Does this mean the physical copy is only for PC?

      Hmm has anyone considered the fact that the game doesn't come in seperate discs? Whether you play on pc or mac you buy the same disc.
      And I guess no one else has noticed that the other Sims 3 games don't even show the mac requirements. That would be scarier to me than being able to see them even if it says PC packaged only.

      I just got done talking to a rep. You can't play it on a mac.

      Er.. yeah it kind of does. They also would not give you mac system requirements with a mac OS listed if it was not compatible with macs. They might say that it requires a computer running windows but it does not.

      The pac packaged only might mean that its mac compatible only with the physical copy and that maybe the download one is only for PC.

      I think it's for mac as well because the cover shows pc/mac. I think the cas rep just made a mistake and they just forgot to put mac on the downloadable version.

      Either way I hope a simguru will confirm or deny this. That way we'll know for sure.

      there are so may reports saying both things
      I would hope that it would be but knowing EA mac users are not going to get CAW. I messaged the gurus on twitter and sent the main sims account a message. But it seems they will not confirm/deny it. To be honest if it does turn out it is not im done with sims forget EA.

      But I want a guru to confirm that it is not.

      It says WIN/MAC on it. Also, PC is short for personal computer. Although it is popularly used to mean Windows, it doesn't specify the operating system. Macs are PCs. Therefore PC only just means computer only really.

      It's not available from the EA Store on Mac as the EA Download Manager is not available on the Mac. The retail versions of the game will work on the Mac.

      Because PC means "Personal Computer" not windows. Macs are PCs, so are Windows, and Linux.

      On Amazon it says it's for the Mac
      Also on all of the sims game in the EA store it doesn't say it's for Mac's.
