Getting fish active in pond

I've stocked my pond with all the fish I want. Is it possible to get the fish 'jumping'? As because the fish aren't all that active, it takes ages to get the same amount of fish as I would do in the community.

I don't know that it is. Maybe over time. I've got about 100 fish in my pond and they're not jumping around happily. I think this is to encourage you to fish elsewhere to promote the 'open living' feel of the new game.

It's possible to get the "jumping" effect by converting a community lot that has a jumping fish pond. You can then just copy and paste that home wherever you want. The pond will stay jumping no matter how you scale down the size of the water.
