Plain and simple, I think that Late Night is the cause for a majority of the lagging I've been reading of recently.
My game ran perfectly before I loaded Late Night. And now, the longer I play any of my saved games, the more they lag/ drag/ become increasing aggravating to play. I wish I knew exactly why the lagging becomes worse as the game plays on, but I do not. Some people say it's because of the vampires... Others say that it's because sims are getting stuck somewhere in the neighborhood...
I've gone so far as to buy a new $230 graphics card, because I thought it might've been my computer graphics card slowing the game down. Nope...
Like I said, this is only speculation, so take it for what you will. But I'm going to uninstall Late Night (if not all of The Sims 3 with the exception of Late Night) and see what becomes of it.
We're all probably going to have to wait out to play Late Night until a patch can hopefully solve our problem(s).
Unless, anyone else can solve this lagging mystery...

Lagging also occurs by CC, and data accumulated from save games. Depending on the computer's specs, the longer you play a particular game or the more you save it, the more data is attached to the file, causing longer load times and lag.
