    Store Items are ALL black

    long story short,my pc needed formatting > reinstalled the sims, and then re-downloaded my store items, no problem there ...
    then i noticed in my CAS that some of the clothes were all black in the thumbnail image .. but once i click them they show up on the sim fine ..so that wasn't so bad, ... but then ... this ..

    if it was just an item or two, i wouldnt be as bothered, but it happens to be on over 20-30 items, and like that tv :( i would Always use that tv

    any ideas why this is happening or how to stop it ?!

      Try to remove this folder:
      C:\Users\* USER NAME *\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Thumbnails

      :( no change, everything that was black is still black, thankyou for trying though

      i dont have any CC, unless you count store content, but yes, i will try that though,
      i dont use mods or anything either :?

      That's strange. Have you downloaded any sims or houses from the exchange? that might have had hidden CC in it.

      no nothing, iv downloaded 1 world, but theres no CC in it, iv only just come back home now, but urgh :( what else can i do :(
      the weird sim glitch thing has stopped since the sim moved, but the black objects are still there

      When you reinstalled, did you follow the order that the packs came out ?

      yes i always do that :( i had no troubles installing them either, iv tried uninstalling the objects and re-downloading and so forth, but thats no working either :?

      Have you tried deleting the cache files? Sometimes that will help.

      I have often had the strange arms, mainly when teaching toddler to walk. Often only one adult that it happens to. Some times I roll back my family to a previous save and if this does not help I save my family to the bin (without their house) and place the copy in a new town. if the problem does not return then my old own was to blame. Black furniture in my home can normally be deleted from the house and new purchased (its damaged).

      mm i removed the file earlier, it didnt work either :? came up with a few more ideas to try out, will post if theres any success :? i have no idea why this is happening, seems to be mostly the electronic items, alot of the other items are ok, aside from the odd few, wish this wasnt happening to some of my favorite items
