Do you want a Traffic Counter for your Sims page..I show you how to do it...

«1
This link has alot of them to choose from.. Plus it gives you the option to have all hits or unique visits only.. I have both on my page now so you can see.
all hits counts how much traffic shows up on your page
unique visit only shows one pesron at a time per site..I like this option so i can know exactly how many people pop in..

Ok who wants to put a counter on their Sims page please follow directions well it does work.. I think this is cool to see how many people visit ur page like they did for The Sims 2..You can see my page.. For an example..

http://www.completemyspace.com/index.php?page=counter

1. First go to this link above copy the code they give you

2. Go to your sims page

3. Click on New Blog..

4. Now paste the code on your page in your blog section

It will look something like this..Look below...
<center><a href="http://www.completemyspace.com/myspace_page_counter.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.completemyspace.com/counter/counter.php/278770.gif" border="0" /></a><br /> Get your <a href="http://www.completemyspace.com/myspace_page_counter.html" target="_blank"><u>myspace counter</u></a></center>

5. Now pay close attention to what i say..See the link under this in red.. the .gif or .png this link is what you will want to keep..

http://www.completemyspace.com/counter/counter.php/278642.gif

look at it real close i want you to delete everything but what you see here..Up above..

Tip this is what the code will look like the one that you will need to keep..If you use this link here
http://www.amazingcounters.com/samples.php
http://cb.amazingcounters.com/counter.php?i=2889216&amp;c=8667961">

7. Now the fun begins.. Click the little picture icon just above where you would type.. Click that and accept the the script to allow pictures.. Click the picture icon again..

8. Now the hard part a window pops up you will see something that starts out with http:// Just erase that and type what you see in that section that you did not erase. And hit ok when done..If it worked you will see something like this..

Or optional if it will let you just copy and paste the link in to the window that pops up..

278639.gif

Same with this one here..But you need to do the same thing or you will be on my counter..

http://www.webcounter.com/

http://www.webcounter.com/4c9efdb19010e/counter.png

counter.png

When you paste you will see it will look just like a bunch of stuff just look for the link that i posted in red..You will see what i am talking about when you do it there are three links but you only need the one for it to work..

    I did it.
It's nto hard, i basically ignored the instructions. :D

    step 5:

Split the long code into 3 seperate links...

Copy the .gif link and click on the insert image icon.
If you see a message to allow scripts... allow it then try again.

Then paste the link u copied.

Lastly, and this is optional, copy one of the other links (they are the same anyway) then click the image, then click insert hyperlink. Copy into the message box.

Okay delete the stray links and Voila!

I went the long way around, but I think it would work to go to the site and select the color you like to generate the code.

Once you get the code, copy the middle link, or the one that ends with .gif. BUT, copy from WWW rather than HTTP:/ because HTTP:/ will already be there when you place the link.

Go to your page and write new blog. Click the insert image icon (last one on the right)

When you click on insert image, you're asked if you will allow script. Click temporarily allow. Then click insert image icon again, and when the window pops up...paste in the link.

    Thanks CaffronCat5!

You did! Hmmm, so since I don't blog, my counter stays up top. I assume that those that do blog, the counter will soon disappear from front page view.

Do we want the counter to show? Just wondering!

FYI...can't read your blog or even your name on your page because your font color is almost the same color as the background.
