I think a simple fix for going to college is allow sims to live at home and go to the University just like they when to school or a job, the ones where you can't enter the building. Then, they could still have all the pledging and special interactions at small frat and sorority houses. I liked having a degree and better employment opportunities that came with going to college, plus it was fun to have teen sims work on getting scholarships.

I put that there is a big building that you can put in your current neighborhood in there
I don't care if the game won't be 100% seamless, With world adventures it already broke that notion anyways. I want my sim to have a college life once again.
but I'd like a bit more time at school unlike the Sims 2 version. that progression didn't leave me with a lot of time to get an education, explore and party too. My sims just have to party. and get into minor trouble.

And for gods sake bring back the Arcade and pinball machines. A pool and poker table would be nice too. No? maybe a deck of cards so that any available table can be used to play poker?
I'd rather the dorms be the way they were in TS2. Where you were allowed to go into your "neighbor's" dorm room if they allowed you. Plus you would pick it and your picture would be on the door, haha good times. Maybe multiple dorms in a sub-hood, with necessities like grocery store and the building where they take exams. They should be able to visit other dorm buildings but, again, have to actually knock on a dorm room door to get in.
I loved how in the dorm buildings they would form little study groups and they would make breakfast for each other, so cute.
I would love to have a university type of ep. There could be a university campus that gets incorporated into your neighborhood. That way there is no loading screens, the neighborhood is seamless, and our sims can go to college for better jobs etc. I wouldn't want uni to be as long as it was in the sims 2, I'd want the progression of it to be different.
