No Sounds

Hi everyone!

I was playing the game last night and I was able to hear my Sim while I was creating her in CAS. As soon as she moved into the neighborhood, I couldn't hear her while she was talking on the phone or any ambient sounds (i.e. birds chirping, footsteps, cars, etc). She went to eat at a bistro and still no sounds. There were a couple of Townies talking to one another but nothing. I checked the sound level computer and it was at its highest. :?:

Any thoughts on what I can do? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have you gone into the game options and made sure none of the game sound levels are lowered or muted?

Yes, I did. I turned all the levels of any type of sound to its highest.

I am having the same issue but I was never able to hear my sims. All options are turned up high and my speakers are not muted either.
