Sim Points issue --Outside-- the US

Ok, so I live in Canada and apparently there aren't any Sim points available for purchase which is pretty disappointing since I really want a new stove for my Sims. And waiting for June for the next EP isn't going to help very much.

Too bad the complementary $10 worth of Sim points card said Nationwide = US only.

That makes absolutely zero sense. You would think, as much as EA brags about their games being sold WORLDWIDE, they would have means for everyone, not just those in the US, to buy/receive sim points. They would make more money that way afterall.

I would definitely say something about it on the Ideas/Feedback area, maybe make a petition for it as well. Also, see if you can email EA and get an answer as to why you can get them, maybe there's some sort of law governing the purchase of points in different countries. :?

Oh by the way, I gifted you the stove you wanted and that shower. :-)
