The Sims 3: Disabled Dilemma
EXPANSION PACK

Torture your Sims in ways no-one could ever imagine - Every-one likes a pair of Crutches and a Wheel chair now and then - Unless theres no need for recovery, ofcourse!

hmm... I say this needs a special new staircase, that can turn into a slide, and sometimes the Sim break their bones when it turns to a slide by accident when broken.
Your sim can go in wheelchairs when disabled.
if your sim has a disease and doesnt go to the Hospital every 3 days, they die.

Diseases:
Cancer
Liver Failure
Brain Trauma
Pneumonia
Aids (🐸🐸🐸🐸, Joke!)
Nue Monia
Ashtmae (Can die if dont take inhaler)
Common Disease
Common Cold
Sickness

Consequences if not treated:
Baby Miscarriage (Pregnant Sims)
Death (Green Coloured Ghost)
Skin Goes Lighter
Skin Goes Pink/Rashed (Ashtmae)
Being Sick
Sneezing
A "Freezing" Moodlet, Nue Monia.
"Feeling Dumb" - Brain Trauma Moodlet

Avoiding Consequences:
Hospital, Liver Transplant
Hospital, Brain Treatment,
Bistro, Cold
Grocery (Fruit) - Common Disease
Grocery (Fruit) - Sickness
Hospital - Cancer

Bone Disabilities:
Broken Leg
Broken Arm
Broken Neck
Broken Foot
Cracked Skull (IMMEDIATE DEATH!)

Disability Furniture Relation:
Wheel-Chair
Crutches
Cast
Head Rest

Consequences (BONE):
No Wheelchair - Collapse(Chance Of Die)
No Crutches - Collapse (Chance Of Die)
No Cast - Infection (High Chance Of Die)
No Head Rest - Death After 1 Day

How To Become Bone Disabled:
Fall Down Stairs
Fighting A Lot
Too Much WooHoo
Kicked By A Llaama
Fight With A Mummy
Infections In Body Parts
Car Crash (EXTREMELY RARE!!!)
Diving In Pool (Hit Body On Sides)
Getting Out Pool (Fall Back In)

Hope You Like It, Your Thoughts?

I'm sorry, but I just don't want diseases in sims.

There are many other things I'd rather have...and I don't think I'd want this at all.

Sorry, but I would hate this.

I've always liked how The Sims is free from the sad realities like this.

But...I would like the flu/cold. Something like that...IDK, some moodlet involved, and they'll get a "woozy" moodlet or something if they walk? Something simple, but I don't want anything drastic.

If you removed the serious, horrible stuff - like cancer :hunf: - it would be kind of fun.

I like the idea of random little accidents, like a broken arm or leg. A sim could get a cast, have shorter work days, and kids would come home from school with drawings all over theirs. Like barisaxy said, I don't want the really serious depressing stuff in my game. Like a baby miscarriage or someone slowly dying. If I need a really dramatic story like that, I can do what everybody else does and just...get creative.

I would honestly never buy an EP or SP like this... I wouldn't mind children/teens possibly getting a broken arm but I completely disagree with having an EP like this... Waaay to depressing and unnecessary in my game at least.

    Happy Simming!

I'm amused that having too much woohoo is one of the ways that you can get disabled according to the OP.

Haha maybe everybody was too freaked out to say anything last year.

When you sit and think about it, some of it is pretty twisted

I barely even looked at it, honestly. Just the whole thought of it all xD.

I love how this took a year for a response. This is...pretty disturbing. Since when does too much woohoo disable you? XD

I personally think this would be a bad idea as not only would it be controversial, but also because I enjoy that The Sims is the kind of game where you don't have to worry about such maladies (like others have said as well). However, things like colds, the flu, and food poisoning (only minor please) would be fine to me, being that they were in TS2 and are more mild forms of illness. In fact, doesn't TS3 already have food poisoning?

And LOL at Archivist's response.

Haha imagine the glitches for it: missing limbs, someone breaking both of their arms and legs...etc.

I find it funny that, given all of the crazy stuff that she lists, it's car accidents that she wants to see happen very rarely.

Geesh, with how fast they drive it wouldn't be much of a stretch :hunf:

I can see it now, 1 car crash, 72 cases of cancer. >_>

I like the concept of having broken bones/ having crutches and wheelchairs and maybe some sicknesses...just not the heavy stuff like the cancer and such, also...I wouldn't want my sim to die really quickly lol, anyways good idea except for a few~

The sims 3 is a place myself and many others go to have fun and ease off stress. Why would anyone want a sim with cancer? My grandmother has cancer and I would NEVER even want my sims to have it.

If this were on facebook, this would have so many dislikes...

The whole point of sims is to take you away from reality, not add it in - especially not in the form of diseases. If I wanted to deal with cancer, there are people in my life that I could call up and talk to about it. But I play sims to avoid thinking about that for a while.

    So no. Just... no.
