My friend brought me the sims3 back from Thailand, and that all worked good.
Then when I was trying to install World adventures(australian version) I got this message "The setup has dectected that the regional code for The Sims 3 is different then what this expansion requires. This product requires the The Sims 3 to have the same regional code in order to be installed."
WHY!!??
Doesnt it seem silly that they have to be bought in the same country?? We are a "Global Community".
So, does that mean that i just spent $50 on a game that wont work??
Gee, thanks ea, yet another happy customer! :x
Can I change the regional code? Or is there any other way that I can fix it??
:?:
Im sorry, I know, Im complaing alot.

Fingers crossed!
...It didnt work
And it makes sense. If you bought TS3 in the US, you'd have to buy the expansion in the USA. This is probably to prevent piracy, etc.
