I think it'd be neat if the stones/gems you stumble upon and ship off to get cut also had the option to be turned into jewelry, rather than just receiving money for them. I also miss the ability to give gifts, and that'd be nice for couples to have the gems made into jewelry for their s.o.'s [perhaps it could cause a stronger reaction, depending on the value?], or perhaps for themselves.
Those two actions could almost go hand in hand. ^_^
