Cross pack updates focused on a specific skill or object.

A way to improve the existing content might be to have in updates some stuff added to several expansions that fit with it.
For example, an update focused on the rocket building skill could add a new alien suit + helmet and an alien space craft to Get to Work.
At the same time it could also add a Star Wars inspired rocket to the Journey to Batuu pack, not sure Star wars has any spaceships in a similar shape that would not need new animations, but it could be nice to maybe see a spacecraft with skins suitable for the first order, resistance and being neutral.
That same update could also maybe allow new stuff to be found in space IF you own specific packs. Like the new crystal stuff would make sense.
Would be some new pop up options to those text adventures, maybe also the ability to go on a longer trip for days that your Sim needs to prepare for by carrying enough food and fuel with them. The long trip could give bigger rewards.
A musical update could focus on adding new versions of the microphone and existing instruments to the game, across several packs where it fits the style. Like a classic microphone for the vintage glamour stuff pack, a flashy piano to Get Famous, a creepy looking violin to the Vampires pack and so on.
Spiral stairs added in an update could have one version in the base game, and various DLC could offer an option fitting in it's style as well, that goes with the railing added in that pack.
Same could be done with highly requested objects like a pool table or elevator if they get added to the base game.
A bot building update could maybe allow bots to be customised in several ways and could also add bot building to other packs which would get their own bot building station and customisation options, so getting all packs means you could combine those options.
Like Journey to Batuu offering some C-3PO looking options and Get to Work some Alien looking options.
A painting update could add easels to various packs as well as unlock specific styles from that pack.
Like wedding stories allowing wedding themed paintings as a new category, Island living letting them paint tropical islands, etc.
A pool update could add a slide to the base game but also to several packs, and various packs could now add swimwear that didn't before.
Maybe Mages could now get a spell to do something with pools too in realm of magic.
