If You Play Celebrities, What Are Some of the Strangest Gifts From Fans?

My Global Celebrity receives gifts from fans all of the time. Today, I was busy checking what was in his personal inventory and was surprised to see one of those BBQs found at a park. :open_mouth: At first, I thought he had applied the five-finger discount, but then I recalled some gifts do go into a personal inventory. LOL I thought gifting a barbeque was pretty strange.

Please share some of the strange gifts your celebrity has received.

I tend to get foul fish, but this being The Sims, they can get revived by putting them in a fish tank. But iirc correctly, that sims wasn't a celebrity, but the Strangerville hero, so the celeb gifts may be different.

How deranged and cruel has someone to be, to put a live fish in a mailbox? Cruel both to the fish and to the recipient, who finds it dead/dying.

@EnkiSchmidt eh deranged & cruel, maybe. But when the US Postal Service first started you could send your kid places through them There were likely rules, but still...

Erik, my Rock Star, gets foul fish sent to him. Rather than try to revive them, he mounts them and puts them on his wall in his Music Room/Man Cave. He's also received spoiled cupcakes, too. I do agree with you 100 per cent, to put a live fish through the mail is absurdly cruel. I keep thinking of how the mail is processed and the poor thing being squished through the rollers. :open_mouth:

Unrelated, but I feel that I know more about Erik Cantrell than I do actual celebrities at this point.

Cool, that means I'm doing my job as a writer. I take that as a compliment. :)

I might remember this wrong, or mix it with another TS series or feature, but could my celebrity actually have received a wrapped up poop? ;) Sounds weird, but then some fans are weird... I think it happened.

I do know our Sims can receive gifts of poop at Winterfest. Erik received one from his next younger brother, Joey, one year. And there is the forever flaming bag of Pooh from Sims2 after a bad date. Erik has received foul fish and spoiled cupcakes, but I blame the person who sent them through the mail. LOL Not that they were intentional. One time, Erik washed the cupcake and then placed it into the dishwasher! That was hysterical. "Ah, it's gone bad. Here, let me wash it."

I was playing the Strangerville Hero after he won the boss fight with the Mother. And almost every other gift he received was some kind of plant or spoiled grilled cheese sandwiches. There were a few gifts that were actually pretty cool. But I thought gifting a plant to someone who rid the world of the plant of all plants was a bit odd.

That's free groceries. Nothing wrong with that.

Ah, yes, but are the groceries edible? My celebrity has received SPOILED cupcakes.

Maybe not the cupcakes, but the vegetables and fruits should be.

@crocobaura My bad. I should have clarified the type of plants that were being sent. All the plants he received were decorative plants. Fruit or vegetable plants would have been more helpful, but at least his fans didn't send him spoiled fish. :D

They are edible to Gluttons, afaik.
