@rosemow what I meant was not about the new forum but the current one, which we are continuing to use even though we know content won't be permanent.
Since the nominations period is over, there is no further need for the Nominated Threads section.
Many of us find that section confusing to navigate given the large amount of announcements on top, and content from all sections of the forum mixed together.

@mightysprite I think this is an important point. It is hard to find the discussions in the mix. If we can restore the threads to their sections, it will help the community continue to thrive while we wait for the new forum to open up.

Bookmarking threads will help everyone to find their threads @mightysprite.
It's also helpful to keep the nominated threads so we know that what we nominated is coming with us. Our suitcase is packed !
You could use the control F button to find certain words on the nominated treads list, and then, bookmark any threads that you haven't already bookmarked. That will help everyone to stay organized.

@mightysprite --- Bookmarks are in order by the date and time that someone posted in each thread. I'll bet that will help you until the new forum opens in July !

I'm late to this but if you move your cursor on the thread, a gear appears. Clicking it gives an option to dismiss those announcement threads. It confusing me as well until I dismissed them
I have a question, I'm confused, if I keep posting here and in the nominated threads it will be migrated too or not anymore, or I need to post it on the AHQ if I want it to keep migrating?
Honestly I prefer to keep posting here until the new forum comes up, because I found the AHQ layout confusing to navigate

The posts that you make on AHQ won’t be transferred over to the new EA forums @Hauk150 but they won’t disappear. They will remain on AHQ. The posts that you make on this old forums will though disappear.

Will there be any type of a game registration like it was on the old Sims 3 site or will it be like this site where anyone can sign up without a game code of some sort? I only ask this because of all the spammers that this site has seen over the years that we have been here.

The new forum will use your EA account like Answers HQ does currently. We do get the occasional spammer on AHQ, but our filters there are much more robust than what we have available here and stop most of it before it appears.

Answers HQ will exist independently of the new EA Forums, I believe everyone will have a fresh start date there.

Lack of it in Answers HQ is really strange sometimes. I have to get creative on what I use for it to separate it from the main text...
