Your home is lovely! @chrischris8894 Very nice stone textured chimney and great kids outdoors play area. Very nice balcony sitting area. The plants are very nice on the wall and pretty candles. The interior furnishings are lovely! Very nice sofa and armchairs fireplace sitting area to enjoy reading books and watching tv. The plants are nice nature touches and very nice patterned rug. The clothes and shoes closet near the door is great! Very lovely design of the kitchen and dining room. The green and brown colour is very nice. The kids bedroom is sweet! The bunny and giraffe are cute! Kids will doing art on the activities table
Additional Notes: Built this as a vacation rental for a seaside holiday in Brindleton Bay. Also, my first attempt at building a shingle/Cape Cod-style build!
Bedlington Beach House is a lovely cape cod style beach home! @tatselk Very nice exterior design, pretty flowerbox windows, great roofing, and the outdoors dining and bbq area is very nice. Very nice sitting area on the front porch. The interior furnishing is lovely! Very nice wood wall and warm wood texture of the furniture.The fireplace sitting area to enjoy tv is very nice,with pretty lamps either sides of chair. Very nice windows dining area with nautical wallart. The lighthouse is a great nautical touch on the table beside the beds in the kids room.

If this is your first cape cod cottage, you’ve nailed or glued it, or whatever you did, it turned out really pretty and cozy. I like the homey feel and the awnings over the windows are perfect for the style.

@JojoMOMSTER Thanks, I tried to get the look right by looking up lots of reference pics from Pinterest. Also, it helps that the Cats & Dogs pack has a really extensive and cohesive Build Buy collection that is geared towards the shingle/Cape Cod look.

It is so fun to see how you all have the same plan and yet each home you design looks so different and special. If you haven’t shared your home yet you still have time; I am just sharing my comments a little early, as I have plans this evening.
@luckyheather your stylish modern Asian home is so beautiful! I love the two-story decks that you have added to the front and back of the home as well as all the outdoor deck space. The landscaping is beautiful, I especially like the tree and rock garden in the center of the pool. The interior of the home is very well decorated. I like all the black that you have used and the artwork adds so much to this build! You have added so many nice details to this home. Very well done!
@AIRIS6962 – Yellow Splash is a wonderful looking modern home! I love the S design of the exterior and I am really impressed with the way that you used all the yellow in this build without making it appear as too much. The yard looks great and it looks like you added some fun activities and projects for the sims to enjoy. I really like the way you designed the space for the rocket ship. The interior of the home is lovely! The bar behind the couch was a great idea and the robotics room will be perfect for the family. Nicely done!
@JojoMOMSTER your Lofty Little Houses are wonderful for this challenge. It is nice to see the three different design ideas for the house plan, and I love that you created different families for the homes on the street as well! The landscaping looks nice and is unique to each homeowner. I really like the way you have done the backyards, especially with the garage pads. The interior of the homes looks wonderful. I especially like the mud room and Jay-Lynne’s bright bedroom. I love all your creativity for this challenge. Well done!
@Lissykin – Eerie April is a great looking haunted house. I really like the brick exterior and the railing that you chose for the home, as well as all the roof details. The pond in the back is lovely, I really like the statue by the water. The interior of the home looks very nice with all the dark blues and blacks. It was nice to see that you made good use of the closet by adding the kitty litter box in there and the second level is perfect for a spellcaster. Very cool idea to add a secret basement room as well. Great job in making a family for your home as well! Adriana is a beautiful spellcaster and her kitten, Wallace, is so adorable!
@Pinkusfamily – Enchanted Cottage Wedding is so beautiful! The green exterior of the home is lovely with all the vines, flowers, and flower boxes as well as the dormers. The back yard is decorated beautifully for a wedding and the location of the lot is so perfect for the house and venue. I really like your wedding photos that you have included in the slideshow. The interior of the home is decorated very nice. The colors that you used work well together and I love the way you placed the furniture in the living room. All the little details that you have added to this home are wonderful. Great job on this one!

The dormers and window covers look very nice and I like the shakes that you used on the exterior of the home, it suits the Cape Cod beach house style nicely. The shrubs and patio space are a nice touch as well. The interior of the home is perfect for the beach! The wall panels and rustic wood floors look great and the furniture that you have used gives this home a very cozy and inviting feeling. I love the kitchen and dining space! Nicely done!

Pretty house @chrischris8894 I love that wonderful green in the living areas I dont think I have used it myself so I will have to now it looks gorgeous. The little patio is perfect, such a great home you created with lots of detail
Lovely beach home @ tatselk and its on one of my favourite lots Your home has the perfect beachy vibe for that lot and the Cats and Dogs furniture and decorative items just add to the home. The roofing is perfect (something I struggle with) and the little garden area has great views, I can see sims loving a BBQ party out there
