Any chance anyone can share the numbers? I’m curious and can’t play just yet
I’d say my bills went up a good 10-15k simoleons. And this was with using MC Command Center to lower the percentage. My house isn’t THAT big I’ll have to turn off the thermostat until necessary.
Wow!! Mine are 5-6k simoleons (I have tons of ceiling lights though), and that’s with the bill-reducing reward trait, otherwise it was 8k at least.
How is the thermostat supposed to affect my sims anyway? I am in autumn and its a cold day. I bought a thermostat and set it to warm and I am disappointed to see my sims walking around the house in winter coats. I think I expected them to use normal clothes when at home with thermostat on and then change to warm clothing when they go outside? Does anyone have the same issue?
I have same thing, but I played only for about an hour hopefully there is a way to make our sims to wear normal clothes.
When you set the thermostat to warm, everyone in the house gets a happy moodlet that says something about having Central Heating. It might be the same if you set it to Cool but I haven’t had to do that yet so I can’t say.
I haven’t gotten bills yet either so I can’t say how having it on will affect them.
I have noticed that if your house or apartment has a balcony or some other outside area sims have to go out often, then sims will wear winter outfits in the house.
I just wanna know if we set the thermostat to cool during winter will our sims freeze and what happens if I don't have one in my house, would my sims walk in their cold/hot weather outfit in house???

I have one, it's set to make the house warmer during winter, but my sims still stay in their cold weather outfits in the house, maybe it's a bug.
