I really should get back to working on my app so I can release my CYS calculator and MMaO checker to other people who could use it. Instead, I spent the last couple days (while I was sick) making a bunch of updates to the MMaO checking section of my spreadsheet.
Hmmm... maybe I'll take the next couple of days to extract my CYS calculator and MMaO checker into public sheets that I can share with others. MMaO will be a hard one with the way I've got input setup since it's not very user-friendly.

Been working on extracting my MMaO checking and CYS calculation into a public spreadsheet.
CYS is proving harder than I anticipated due to wanting to rewrite it. My current version is a mess. While I was making it originally, I inserted and deleted columns, rows, and functions whenever the need arose meaning some things are a bit awkwardly placed, redundant, or even entirely unnecessary. There was also at least one feature I came up with (possibly more) never got implemented because I was too lazy to make large changes to the sheet's layout and whatnot, or the feature(s) required complicated functions that I didn't feel like working out. I also seem to have been storing some notes on various CYS calculations for sets I was investigating.
Meanwhile, MMaO might actually be easier to extract. Thanks to my rewrite of it this past week, the entire sheet can mostly be copied over directly. I still need to work up a more user-friendly way to input deal contents though.
With work taking up a good chunk of my time until Tuesday, it will probably be a few more days until I can manage to make any of this available for public use.
In the meantime, I could use some feedback on how I might be able to improve these tools:
1. Would people rather these tools be separate tabs in the same spreadsheet or two separate spreadsheets?
2. What kind of item info would you like to have handily displayed when checking MMaO and/or CYS?

Spent the last couple of days working on the spreadsheet versions of my MMaO and CYS tools. Still need to reorganize the contents of the CYS tool, but I'm getting close to it being ready for public consumption.
The MMaO checker is as done as I can get it atm and can be previewed in my Store data spreadsheet. Data used is a fake MMaO deal chosen to test/show off various features (item info lookup, conditional formatting, "CYS Impact"). A few known flaws/limitations:
1. While most items can be input by name, a few cannot due to sharing a name with another item (lookup formula will report a #REF! error). Only way to input these items is by using their 5-digit product ID (the Xs from OFB-SIM3:XXXXX as found in an item's Store/direct download URL). I can't really come up with a good alternative for this.
2. "CYS Impact" only previews CYS for a set's everyday price (weekly sale or non-sale). Trying to gather DD prices for an unknown number of sets at once would likely require a custom function, which I don't feel like working on.
3. "CYS Impact" does not preview CYS for sets in the deal that share items with other sets.
4. If one or more of the items share a set that you already have a CYS price for, then that set's "CYS Impact" won't be accurate for you.
When I finish up the CYS tool I'll place both tools in a publicly editable spreadsheet for people to be able to play with them. If anyone has any suggestions on anything (item input, information to show, organization, more/different formatting, alternative wordings for labels, etc.), suggest away! I'd be happy to make changes, or explain why I did (or didn't do) something.

I really should get back to working on my app so I can release my CYS calculator and MMaO checker to other people who could use it. Instead, I spent the last couple days (while I was sick) making a bunch of updates to the MMaO checking section of my spreadsheet.

CYS is proving harder than I anticipated due to wanting to rewrite it. My current version is a mess. While I was making it originally, I inserted and deleted columns, rows, and functions whenever the need arose meaning some things are a bit awkwardly placed, redundant, or even entirely unnecessary. There was also at least one feature I came up with (possibly more) never got implemented because I was too lazy to make large changes to the sheet's layout and whatnot, or the feature(s) required complicated functions that I didn't feel like working out. I also seem to have been storing some notes on various CYS calculations for sets I was investigating.
Meanwhile, MMaO might actually be easier to extract. Thanks to my rewrite of it this past week, the entire sheet can mostly be copied over directly. I still need to work up a more user-friendly way to input deal contents though.
With work taking up a good chunk of my time until Tuesday, it will probably be a few more days until I can manage to make any of this available for public use.
In the meantime, I could use some feedback on how I might be able to improve these tools:
1. Would people rather these tools be separate tabs in the same spreadsheet or two separate spreadsheets?
2. What kind of item info would you like to have handily displayed when checking MMaO and/or CYS?

The MMaO checker is as done as I can get it atm and can be previewed in my Store data spreadsheet. Data used is a fake MMaO deal chosen to test/show off various features (item info lookup, conditional formatting, "CYS Impact"). A few known flaws/limitations:
1. While most items can be input by name, a few cannot due to sharing a name with another item (lookup formula will report a #REF! error). Only way to input these items is by using their 5-digit product ID (the Xs from OFB-SIM3:XXXXX as found in an item's Store/direct download URL). I can't really come up with a good alternative for this.
2. "CYS Impact" only previews CYS for a set's everyday price (weekly sale or non-sale). Trying to gather DD prices for an unknown number of sets at once would likely require a custom function, which I don't feel like working on.
3. "CYS Impact" does not preview CYS for sets in the deal that share items with other sets.
4. If one or more of the items share a set that you already have a CYS price for, then that set's "CYS Impact" won't be accurate for you.
When I finish up the CYS tool I'll place both tools in a publicly editable spreadsheet for people to be able to play with them. If anyone has any suggestions on anything (item input, information to show, organization, more/different formatting, alternative wordings for labels, etc.), suggest away! I'd be happy to make changes, or explain why I did (or didn't do) something.
