Hello, i saw this one thread talking about horse coats and about using shading and tones with only Grays/Greys, Whites, and Blacks and in different Opacities to give the horse coat a real feel. I have been working on some and love the way they have turned out. Take note that i probably spelt some names wrong or got the coat color and all wrong. Im not good with names. I hope you enjoy!
*check page 2 for the genetics with these coats!*
~I like to get creative with things, and i have been thinking and coming up with some cool ideas for horse coats. I will most likely be making Ispired/Imagination/Creative type of coats later on. But for now im sticking with Realistic ones, and until i know enough people like my creations i will make wacky creative coats.~

Just to make sure, that my coats are really ok, im going to experiment. I'm going to take a couple horse coats and make offspring in the CAP. I hope it turns out, so far i had to nartural horse births in a personal game and they came out beautiful! cross your fingers.
Ok, i experimented and i got great results! Now they won't turn out all the time, i had a few..."Hmmmm...." moments when i experimented but i mostly got what i was trying to achieve!
Now this is my Palamino coat
When i bred it with my Cremello coat
I got this!
As you can see the offspring got the Palamino's darker coat but it also got the Cremellos white to it.
Here is my Flea-Bitten Greay coat
When i bred it with my Dappled coat
I got this!
The offspring came out as a dappled grey like one of its parent and white (stocking) like its other parent.
Here is my Tabino Buckskin Paint coat
When i bred it with my Brown Sabino coat
I got this!
A Buckskin Tabino Paint, with some of the brown sabino!
So far i love the results, and i have more.
Here is my Black Appaloosa coat
When i bred it with my Brown Appaloosa coat
I got this!
A Brown Appaloosa with the blacks white stocking! (Also one random black back shading part)
Here is my chestnut coat
When i bred it with my Bay coat
I got this!
A chestnut bay! The only some what random thing was the one black stocking or whatever you want to call it.
I have tested the coats and you have seen them and what they make! There for my coats work and don't completely random weird colored babies! (If it does happen, it will be rare having random colored/markinged babies)
When you say tabino do you mean tobiano? Also, I don't really see any markings on your flea-bitten coat; just looks grey honestly. The "small spot appaloosa" looks more flea-bitten in my opinion. Have you tried making a leopard appaloosa or only blanket markings?
Beautiful horses none the less ^^ keep creating.
>>My build showcase thread<< and my newest creation Modern Celebrity Mansion, 1 Torendi Tower Penthouse, Sea Breeze Animal Clinic, and many more!
Also, the Flea-bitten grey, has little marks but they are hard to see. Look close enough and you might be able to see them. For my black small spot appaloosa, i just wanted one with small spots and with the normal big spots (the brown and black one) just for diversity not in coat color for in markings and all as well.
Thanks for the comment, glad you like them.
