I cancelled out if she had the monster action which is usually followed by waking the parent, then clicked on the bed again to say talk, kept on repeating that until she became friends.
I think its an addorable addition to the game, I am going to let all my sim kids become friends with the monster, I wonder if she will sleep peacefully now that they are friends, will have to see tomorrow, cause I am super tired and off to bed soon
Its very cute, I will however get the little bedlight to keep the monster at bay during the school week, she can play with her tentacled friend on weekends
I love it, its a pitty a childish sim can't see it, I just tried and the dad could not see it, perhaps I will try when he actually sleep in the bed.
LOL he/she probably yelled at it to be their friend or find another bed to live under
I hope there's no nasty surprise and the monster eats the children
I think it would be even more awesome if at some point the Monster would say something like "You've grown both courageous and kind, you do not need me anymore. It's time for me to find another bed to live under. Think about me sometimes, my dear friend. Never change (too much)." And then the Monster would leave forever, and the kid would be sad but at the same time would cherish the memories on her/his way towards adulthood.

If the monster dragged the child under the bed... or parent when they check for monsters. I think it would have been an interesting death type.

Yes they did indeed, I thinkan occasional draggin in or just tugging on the foot would be awesome, almost like the squid monster in the caves in Island Paradise

I think its super cute, she plays with her monster friend on weekends now
