Are you on a laptop or desktop? Make sure you game in the launcher is set to 1929 X1080p 60 hz. This is the resolution your card can handle and should be running If your on a desktop what is the resolution of your monitor ?

@foxx_fennec The laptop @igazor posted would be better over all. MSI is better for gaming, has better cooling . It also has a faster hybrid hard drive . You need at least a 1 tb hard drive The dell is offering a small ssd you cant game on and the 1tb hard drive is a slow hard drive

Did you add the game to Nvidia control panel and are you using Vsync to cap your FPS to your monitor refresh rate? Also don't use IE browser on the sims webs. They don't support IE. Even if you have IE installed and don't use it it does leave files on your PC. Always clear all your internet browser history , including IE if you have issues on the sims 3 web.

@igazor moving the documents folder from c drive to another hard drive would help and chester can help them with windows 10 since we don't have windows 10 .

@SemaviLady You missed the DxDiag part like I did even though Igazor posted a link. Their hard drive is very small and has no space. That is the first issue I would tackle before anything else . I don't think it's their CPU. they could have a PSU problem but the hard drive on C drive is an issue

Did you add the 1050 card or did someone else and you bought it refurbished? Sounds like something maybe up with your build or you are gaming in a higher resolution than your card can handle. You should be running 1080p 60 hz for the 1050 card. If your resolution is higher than that , expect fps drops. Your PSU can go bad.…
