I didn't know horses had a value. Duh! I have a sim in my rotation who is doing the racing champion aspiration but it will be slow going, playing her one week per sim year and she is also still in high school so only has time to race at weekends. She's got two gold and a silver so far... long, long way to go!
I don't like the look of Urban Homage but I have all the others. There are a couple I wish I hadn't bought though - Carnaval Streetwear and Courtyard Oasis. They never get any usage in my game.
Just a dude riding down to the local saloon. (It's actually my sim, Chase McGee, riding to the grocery store, but that didn't sound as cool lol). Still loving this pack.
Yes, you can see it in the pic I posted earlier: and I placed some of the floor decor confetti from the party pack in front of it as if it's been used and not yet cleaned up.
Hmmm... I didn't know about that. That's a bit naughty of them then. But I guess at least they added the fog function to it, unless that was already there too?
@crocobaura thanks - and, yeah, I added the lemonade tray to the table so they'd have a reason to go over there, but it would have been good if those decor items had interactions for drinks and chips. Edit: I guess I could MOO that little lunch bag we got in one of the recent updates to base game and stick it under the…
I've been having fun adding the party items to wedding venues, nightclubs, karaoke bars etc. This is the room above the Copperdale Thriftea store where mostly my teens hang out (the invisible dance mat is on the patterned rug):
Yeah, this is what I do - or sometimes I have to actually grab the door and just put it back again in build mode. It is like it needs a reset. I have a few home lots where the same thing happens and even one house where it happens with the stairs and I have to go to move the stairs but just let them fall back in place…
18th April... so next Thursday then. I like the look of the party kit. Everyone needs a disco ball and smoke machine, and I love the look of that retro record player unit. I wonder if the records go round on it, I can't remember if they do on the previous one we got. The CAS kit... thanks but no thanks.
@LuvtehGeeks that all sounds dreadful. I'm glad I don't have many gardening bugs in my game *crosses fingers* because I love playing farmers and gardeners. Todays most bugging moments for me was quite minor really - sims kept putting my toddler in that darn highchair for no reason. I thought they'd fixed that, but I had to…
Guy on the right is going 'dude, do you know you've got things floating above your head?' and the woman behind is saying 'OMG, it happened again!' then the three others sat at the table are just trying not to make eye contact and hoping they can leave soon.
@shorty943p glad it works now :) @FreddyFox1234 yep, you definitely have to place the bassinets you want before the babies are born. It's a pity we can't click on another bassinet and select for them to have that one instead, it wouldn't even need an animation, they could just appear inside...
@Simmingal she reminds me of the matchmaker lady from a previous sim version (can't remember if it was 2 or 3). I guess you can't even delete the broom if she doesn't really have one, how annoying. Or maybe it's an invisible broom and only appears during usage. My bugbear from today: my horse keeps following my sims around…
Thanks @Caerfinon but I'm vanilla at the mo. @JAL that's meh. I hope you didn't have to replay too much. @GalacticGal scholarships always seem fairly random for me, if I'm applying for the basics like the location one and education for all.
Is that just personal preference or are you not able to weed? I must admit, I've been having a blast with my farmers. They have finally gotten quite a few spliced and evolved plants and getting good harvests and I'm enjoying all the animals. They are living off the land and also nectar making.
My sim's youngest just aged up to toddler (the girl) and she played in the sea with her 'older' brother. Mum watched over them to make sure they were safe.
Did you move the lot to a non-water one? Are you all set up now? You can move some tenants in yourself without having to control them afterwards and you don't have to have a landlord on the lot. You will need a bedroom per 'household' but the remaining space can be shared.
Couldn't you just have a rental property there designed in a layout for backpackers with rental rooms that are basically just beds and shared spaces for showers, eating etc using the For Rent pack?
