I think they have a habit of doing these things without fully considering the consequences. If it were me, I'd have kept this kit back until after the update, or released it at the same time as the update and had a feature that if you own the kit you could have a sim fix the bed and phone to the working ones if you wanted…
These both look awesome! Thank you for hosting a giveaway. I'm editing myself out of the giveaway lol, I just had a tenner land in my lap from doing a little job for a neighbour so Imma gonna treat myself later.
Having just put 24 sims through uni (in batches of 8) I was delighted to see the new likes and dislikes come into effect. No longer do sims automatically get along with every other sim, it was great!
Do you think they'll ever add more liked/disliked activities for kids? Do you think they'll ever do another pack refresh? Do you think they'll ever add more guy full body summer outfits?
I'm thinking of making it all wedding, community and rentals. It is beautiful for sure, but I just did not get on with having sims live there. But honeymooning there would probably be lovely.
Ooh, I have a number of couples who can marry in the near future, I'm glad to hear it's all working well now. But, really, you folks like Tartosa? Do you mean to just visit? I tried having sims live there and found it too meh.
Lol. I remember my youngest thinking I came from the Victorian times :D :D :D The years are flying by so very fast. I can still remember standing in good old Woolworths and my 2 sons helping to decide which new pack to buy for TS2; we ended up choosing the very awesome Open For Business. Seems like 2 years ago, not 17.
Spa Day for sure. The stuff pack is a tough one but I'd probably go for knitting. I love all the different items you can knit, and then there's Plopsy which I use a lot, especially to sell my paintings.
Did you try picking up the lot and moving it over one square to see if the mailbox becomes accessible when it's not on the very edge? It's the button in build mode where you can move or rotate the whole lot.
LOL. I was curious so went to YouTube to watch the trailer. OMG. Pink. Haha. I never had a Barbie as a kid, but I actually want to watch that movie now. Can't believe I admitted that in public :D I may have to return to YT again and seek out simming Barbies. I blame it on my bad cold; I'm currently stuck bored in bed and…
Awww you sound so happy and excited at having him back! I love reading threads like this. So glad that @xoJessi did an awesome job of helping you. I'm sure that info will also be very useful for other simmers in the future.
Hmmm... interesting. My sims tend to just have a few friends and relatives. Maybe I'll try again cos I haven't been vanilla for a year or so, maybe an update changed things?
The only bug I encounter is the chefs stood outside. I use the cheat resetsim to get them moving in. But I always make sure my restaurants are laid out spaciously and if you have 2 chef stations and 2 waiters it speeds things up.
Grrr... I'm falling at the first hurdle... I completed my uni sims and split them up between saves in their new homes but I am constantly re-saving when one household updates with something new. I just can't get my head around not playing them all in the same save! I might have to have a mini rotational game for them and…
I have been playing through uni and have enjoyed the compatibility and the new likes and dislikes. I went through 3 semesters with 4 guys and 4 gals and most of them became good friends and a few became couples. Though I wasn't massively adventurous when I chose their likes and dislikes when I made them all in cas, so most…
It is very sad that EA don't seem to cater for rotational players with things like this. I've only stopped rotating because I didn't want to be forced to use corrective mods any more. There is absolutely no reason why anything should change while we are playing a different household. By now There should be a 'leave…
I'm quite enjoying it so far. I've been playing 8 sims at uni and will split them into different saves now they have graduated - then I can do different stuff with each. I've also got a save with an infant and her artist mum. It's actually going to be quite nice to just pick which save I'm in the mood for and play that, as…
@permanentrose your game in the jungle looks like a lot of fun, I love that pic of the whole family going across the bridge. My sims just went out to a classy restaurant to celebrate their graduation :D I'm so proud that not one of them out of all 8 got a grade below A-. It was chaos at times lol.
