I'm new to posting on sims forum and can't work out to post in a discussion so thought I'd message you, in hopes you might be able to help with my question.
I've been playing sims 3 on my windows computer with a particular family which I have become very fond of. I've just bought a new MacBook computer and am looking to transfer my sims to the MacBook. I am aware of how to copy and paste the saves folder but here is my issue:
On my original game, I am using expansion packs - late night, university, showtime, pets.
And on my new MacBook I do not wish to install packs 'university' and 'showtime' as I dislike them and don't have a lot of hard drive space.
Is there a way which I am able to transfer my original sim family, with all their progress/ relationships and skills ect.. on to my new computer, without having to install the university and showtime expansions, and it not corrupt my saves file?
Thanks for your time,
