So the reason you never saw those concepts when voting for the theme is that we had you vote in the order in which development takes place. There is no concept art without a theme for work to be done around. The idea of this project was to teach you about how game development works, specifically in relation to The Sims, so…
lol I never attempt to deceive you guys, I'm pretty straight-forward. We worked with our team in Australia to come up with some fun holiday themed content for folks who don't experience snow / winter during this time of year. We try to be more inclusive with holiday stuff so more folks can feel represented in the game.
The page is meant to highlight for folks who do not know much about Maxis how many games the studio has and provide them with links to each products specific page to learn more about them. Nothing more :)
Good morning everyone! Someone brought this to my attention yesterday, this was not written by us as we do not own that page but we are getting it corrected so that it properly reflects what you can do in-game. I've also updated the title of this thread to ensure folks do not continue to assume that this was our doing.
Good morning folks! So I've been alerted to this thread by the mods and wanted to provide some insight here on two points of discussion: CC/Mods locked behind a paywall and Patreon. * CC/Mods Locked Behind Paywalls - Creators cannot lock content they make using our game behind a paywall. While we do not police this content…
@Netzspannung is correct. @IngeJones We have had the Game Changers program for a while, it has just become more standardized across all franchises within EA for a unified approached. The article you are speaking of was misleading, some key things I want to comment on as I do not want to go into specifics regarding that…
Hey folks! We know the transition to a new moderation team and introducing a new set of rules and guidelines is going to take a bit of time to get used to. I wanted to take a moment to hop in this thread to add some clarity to this particular aspect of contention. I understand there is some confusion regarding "petitions".…
Happy to provide clarity! So the term "influencer" is normally focused around those with large influence to where they would be considered "celebrities". Within EA that term doesn't quite align with our beliefs within our respective communities. We call those within our community creator programs "Game Changers". For Sims…
Hello folks! It was brought to my attention that my statement was a bit confusing regarding DLC. Just to be clear: We are looking to bring some of the favorite DLC content we've launched for PC over to console. There will be more information about this in the coming months on our blog.
We will be explaining DLC at a later point. But as for console getting future content before PC? No. The content is built for PC and ported for console. At this time DLC content that is releasing on console will be from content we've already released on PC the last almost 3 years.
Just to be clear with regards to TS4 presence. We aren't inviting any content creators or influencers to Gamescom. We are playable in the business lounge for those who are new to the franchise but there is no content capture, streams, panels, etc. happening for us with regards to Game Changers.
This is a legit question: how many words per minute can you type? With regards to your response to my post I am going to condense it to just the major points, I'm wanting to address --its pretty long and I want to get to the heart of what I can. You're right, I did not answer any of that. Not because I didn't want to but…
