There's a lot of threads with people saying what they miss from The Sims and The Sims 2...
So how about we reminisce on what we hated about the previous games, and are glad that we now do have/don't have now in The Sims 3?
I'd say:
- Dirty baby bottles lying around the house everywhere
- Coloured ghosts (hated those!)
- Non-understandable babies
- Restrictions to one lot

Same, mine took over half an hour to load up properly due to CC.
Also don't miss the annoying mascots from uni, especially the cow which seemed to make my faithful Sims cheat out of free will!
I definitely prefer create-a-style of the Sims 3. Has to be my favourite feature and for me Sims 2 CAS just can't compare without it!
All mine self-clean
I liked S2 and am considering junking 3 and reverting to it.
long loading time for game startup.
loading screens for each lot.
shrubbery and flowers that need tending every couple of days.
having to place the driveway on the left side of the lot.
having only one choice for size of painting at the easel.
the Young Adult age is only for university students.
That's all I can think of at the moment.
A couple more:
being limited to only one item on a table and only being able to position it in the center.
having to choose amongst only a couple of color choices or having to install third-party recolors for furnishings.
Bye then
*Toddler leaves toy in front of door and crawls away*
*Parent trys to go into kitchen*
SHOO FLEE! SHOO FLEE!
the long loading screens for everything.
the fact that our sims only got to meet other sims if they came to their homes or they went to community lots.
we couldn't watch them drive in the cars.
the sky went from light to dark and not in transition.
and a lot of other things that I can't think of at the moment.
Dirty diapers and bottles.
SHOO FLEE every 5 seconds.
Drew Carey. *shudders*
I do miss being able to see in stores, however.
Anyway, I definitely don't miss only being able to stay in your house all day.
I don't miss the way of having a baby in TS1. With the little 'Should we have a baby?' box and the bassinet dropping from the sky.
I don't miss having one or very few colours or each object.
I don't miss four set hair colours.
yeah im getting the long loading screens aswell . and i have quite a new up to date computer so i wander what the problem is huh ?
Like 3 so much better
I dont miss the time limits on parties and outings. I never knew why they did that in the first place.
I dont miss the limitation to the amount of people I can invite over.
I dont miss not being able to turn off aging if I want to.
I do miss the hot date/nightlife expansion packs
I do miss the resturants and shops, being able to go inside and see the cook and all that stuff.
lag, loading screens, inability to see what a baby wants, four hair catagories, dull eyes, no shoe choice, cows from univeristy, llamas from university, dates, inability to visit your neighbors, nannies, children needing nannies, zombies, incompetent vampires, social bunny, cheap gifts from dates, X number of loves, little choice for LTW, co-workers coming over uninvited, home births, having only one way to get mutliples without cheating, how spouses knew their love was cheating if they were on the same lot, little choice in colors, how long it took to graduate sims from collage, the outfits witchs had to wear, not being able to pick which door sims think is the front, private school, part time limits, limitations on the amount of guests and those weird stalker-sims.
'Cause I can I'm going to tell what I miss:
aliens, cowplants and die by flys.
I do like some aspects of TS3 but I did have years of fun with TS2. It was well worth the hours of Skipped Chores to play. I loved it.
I don't TS2 at all!
...except for the awesome CC, but that comes in time.
