what game pack I should buy & why?

I'm looking to purchase another game pack soon, I'm not sure which one. usually I wouldn't ask for opinions but, I really like all of my options. I would love some insight as to what one and why you'd suggest that one :)

honestly I don't really have a play style, it changes quite a bit. hence why I'm open to anything and would like to hear other simmers opinions about the pack & why they like them and what they do with them ^^"

    Dine Out
I picked Dine Out because restaurants are honestly a part of any save I make.

    Spa Day
I only have Dine Out and Spa Day, they bring stuff to do for my sims and I like them both. I probably use Spa Day more, restaurants take very long, and they bug sometimes, and there are several activities at the spa, in the restaurant you just wait and eat (for hours). I also use items from Spa Day a lot.

Vampires and Jungle Adventure come with a new world though.

    Dine Out
I personally use Dine Out and Spa Day the most as you can use them daily throughout your gameplay.

I like Dine Out a lot. It is usually a good hangout spot for clubs, teens, etc. You can also go on dates there. You can own and manage your own restaurant, customize the uniforms and menu. Sims can learn new recipes from experimental foods. The restaurants do take a long time, but I'm not sure if its because my game lags or if it is a bug. I have a lot of sims in my game (past the recommended limit) so that might be the reason for the long wait times. Also, if the restaurant isn't designed properly, the waiters can't get around quickly to deliver the orders or provide good service to your table.

I like Spa Day because it has a lot of nice content in the build/buy mode, like wall finishes, decor, incense, furniture, etc. It also has a new wellness skill, allowing your sims to practice yoga, meditation, teleportation. The incense can influence certain moods around the house as well as adding oils to hot tubs. I also use the saunas and massage tables/chairs a lot, which if you get a certain massage it can increase your chances of having twins/triplets.

Vampires and Jungle Adventure is more game/story specific.

Vampires is an interesting pack. It comes with a new (small) world for vampires. There is a new fleshed out system for vampires where they have to work their way up to become the master vampire, earning strengths and weaknesses along the way. Also, it comes with cool clothes and a new skills, like Vampire Lore and Organ. Vampires can drink blood from humans or eat plasma fruits/drinks. They're afraid of garlic. They can also have vampire duels, which is pretty cool. Only thing I don't like is that my vampires can have a disguise (dark form) but it doesn't do anything because sims automatically know they are vampires. It's not like aliens who wear a disguise but sims find out that they are aliens due to their glow when they're emotions are heightened.

Jungle Adventure is a new vacation world. The world has different gates and puzzles to go through. Not every door is unlocked so you'd have to make multiple visits. It has new skills, like archaeology and Selvadoradian culture, and a new aspiration, to become an archaeologist. There is also new music. There's a new dance type and greeting type that they get to learn with the cultural skill, as well. I've only been on vacation once or twice there, not because I didn't like it, but because it is not really a family place unless you stay in the Bodega area, dancing and fishing. One of my sims died there in a fire for picking the wrong puzzle and the family members were swimming throughout the maze so they didn't get to her on time to extinguish the fire. There was also a random skeleton swimming around as well. But there is a lot to do there if you want to try to get through all the gates.

    Dine Out
Uch this is very hard. Going by what I use the most: Dine Out. And Spa Day too, but I really could not play without the restaurants anymore. I love them. They're my favorite spot for romantic dates, family dinners, and outings with groups of friends. It's where I send my sims to relax. That's also why I love SD as spas have a similar effect on me, I simply use the restaurants a bit more. If I could only keep one in my game, currently, I'd pick DO or Parenthood (probably the latter, but it'd be very hard to let DO go :D)

All that being said, the quality of gameplay and items in both Vampires and JA is absolutely outstanding. And I must admit that my current favorite family is an archaeologist/human-vampire family, so yes, they're great packs that I really wouldn't want to miss. I just think it would be easier due to how I usually play the game. Going to the jungle or being a vampire is something I play a lot less often than I play out a little more mundane, everyday stuff.

So whatever activity / experience you think you'd play most often / could use in the most varied ways, is the one you should go for. :)

    Vampires
I personally am a Supernatural fan. I play the Sims to escape the mundane and normal real life activities that I live through myself. Extraordinary Sims doing ordinary things that can and will do extraordinary things. Yep, that's for me. ;)

TS4 Vamps are the best of any of the series. They really got them right this time.

YES a BIG YES from me on this note! I love the Vampires in Sims 4! They got them right, indeed! Not only one version of a vampire, you can create all kinds of versions from different movies! I truly hope when they create vampires for future Sim games they will never go away from this again., because I would hate to get vampires that are not as fully fledged as they are currently!

    Dine Out
If you love Vampires, I would say get the Vampire GP. I don't like supernatural but was able to play a story-line I loved with it. It was a lot of fun. I can imagine if you loved supernaturals, this is the pack for you.

I picked Dine Out because it's my most used pack. I go on a majority of my dates at restaurants. I use them for birthdays and family gatherings, to meet up with friends. My sims visit restaurants a lot. I only played one save where I owned a restaurant but I enjoyed it.

I almost picked SPA Day. This is one of the best B/B packs. Almost all my bathrooms use SD. I love yoga, I will sit and watch my sim do yoga and not get bored. It's fun to go to the spa and do different activities for your sim like massages. I really like taking my sims to different venues.

I just got Jungle Adventures, so I can't say anything about it yet.

Vampires: It's very well made, but as I play many different families, I don't actually get to use Vampires that much. I do love Forgotten Hollow though and remembering that kind of made me regret that I voted for DO - it's a tight match :D

Spa Day: It's ok, but not my favourite. I don't really like going to the spa, but yoga is nice to have.

Dine Out: I haven't tried running a restaurant this far, but I really enjoy customising restaurants with different menus and atmospheres. It's the best place to go on a date and I use it all the time. Also I love seeing my other rotational families and couples when visiting restaurants.

Jungle Adventure: I got this just recently and no complaints really, but I don't think it's as good as Vampires or Dine Out.

For me, Vampires are really fun. I love supernatural stuff though--especially witches and vampires. I really like Jungle Adventure in terms of having a vacation and adventure all rolled into one--and that it changes a bit. Dining out is good to make your own restaurant, or customize the menu of one you like on the gallery. I do like that the food items are updated. I use Vampires and Dine out the most. Spa day is fun but other than putting a few items in houses and having a spa center/resort it can get old.

Vampires, because they're the best ones in the series so far. They're so customizable! And they also come with their own little spooky neighborhood? And the Build/Buy is so good??
Honestly, just seeing how diverse they could be kinda got me into vampires in general. Thanks, TS4.

Now, the only "downside" of it is that once you have bought it, they exist in your game. No ifs and buts about it, they're a part of your sims' reality now.
While you may not have a problem with this, I'm just saying, because I've seen way too many people complain about that, even though they could have just avoided the pack in the first place instead of getting it for the build mode stuff exclusively. Like, they literally bought the pack called "Vampires", and now there are vampires in their game. What did they expect? There are no toggles to remove vampires entirely in the settings.

So if you're huge into "realistic gameplay", maybe steer clear of this pack? It's called Vampires for a reason, and I cannot stress this enough -people who hate vampires should never buy it in the first place if all they're gonna do is complain about how much they "ruin their game".

But, if you're like me and love embracing the unreal and playing The Sims as the urban fantasy it is, go for it!
Vampire sims have never been as good as these ones. I love this pack a lot. I highly recommend it.

    ---

Dine Out is pretty good too. There's a lot you can do to customize your restaurant. Custom menus, uniforms, etc.. and you don't even have to manage the restaurant to choose this stuff. You can easily just build a restaurant that your sims can visit and dine out at. It's pretty fun!
Now, managing a good restaurant on the other hand might be way harder to do. Especially in the beginning. But whatever. This is a very nice pack if you want your sims to go out eating somewhere sometimes.

It depends on what you like and what you are looking for in the game. Vampires are amazing! They really fleshed them out and I love all the CAS and build mode items. Not everyone likes Vampires though.

Jungle Adventure is really fun for sims that like exploring and the world is gorgeous; but it is a vacation world and not everyone uses vacations as much. Personally I like the style and skills that they went with.

Spa Day is good if you are into relaxation like sims doing yoga, getting massages, saunas, etc....

Dine Out is alright; but kind of buggy at times (always waiting a long time to get their food as well); but you can run a restaurant and learn new recipes. It can be good for take your sims to one on a date and there is the risk of getting food poisoning at times. Plus they can learn new experimental recipes. I really don't have my sims eat out as much though as some bugs awhile back really made it a pain.

Vampires if you're a fan of the supernatural or into Gothic Victorian clothing/objects. The vampires themselves are very customizable, you can have an Anne Rice type vampire to a more folkloric bloodsucking monster to anything in between- it's up to you!

Besides Toddler Stuff, Dine Out is my favorite game pack. l just love being able to go out and eat with the family. I don't even own Vampires or Jungle Adventure myself. I just never cared for them that much.

If you like Vampires at all, then it's the pack for you. The team have done a great job with the bloodsuckers this time around, and you can customise them wonderfully. The items are fabulous too, so if you're into building, this is a fantastic addition.

Dine Out is a solid second choice, but owning your own restaurant can be a bit buggy. Your employees tend to leave their posts a lot, which is frustrating. It's still a good pack if you're only into visiting the restaurants as a guest though.

    Vampires
I think vampires have affected my overall game and world the most. The other packs I might ignore for some length of time and hardly notice they're there, but vampires always seem to add a little "spooky spice" to whatever's going on. Which may or may not be a good thing, depending on how you like to play ;-P But I think it might be the best bang for your buck.

Second choice is JA, but I think I may be biased, since I have several sims with jungle aspirations right now and have had a lot of fun with them specifically. Tho to be fair, it also was pretty great for my fabulously wealthy aspiration sim--there's a lot of high value treasures and rewards out there, tho it does cost a lot at the start to go exploring in the first place.

Dine out and Spa day are tied for me. Never played running a restaurant, so can't say anything about that. I mostly use both for dates: Spa day has sauna whoohoo and can be a fun partner activity, and there's some cool spa gallery downloads that make great honeymoon spots, and restaurants are a great way to make other sims SIT THE ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ DOWN AND STAY THERE TILL YOU'RE DONE WITH THEM.

    Spa Day
Clearly in the minority here but I really love Spa Day. It's my second favorite pack after Parenthood. I love the yoga and meditation, going to the spa really relaxes my Sims and has that affect on me as well. I love a lot of the build/buy and female clothing/hair that comes with the pack too.

I chose Dine Out, as it adds gameplay that you can use no matter what. Wanna run a restaurant you can but if you don't you can still add them for your sims to go out and socialise. Go on dates, have parties, just grab a meal cause you don't feel like cooking. Dine Out adds a piece of content that is basic in a modern society.

    Jungle Adventure
I chose Jungle Adventure because it adds a lot of interesting elements to The Sims 4. It adds so much new gameplay to The Sims 4, and adds so much adventure. You can't go wrong with this pack.
