Personally, I'm holding off on playing the Sims until Seasons comes out. I don't want to get too invested in my gameplay and then have a major change. I get bored very easily, and I don't have many ideas on what to do. Let's make a list of things to do while we wait for seasons. It does not have to be online. I'll start.
1. Play House Flipper ($20)
2. Re-read your favorite book, or read a new one.
3. Write your own stories.

5. Comb the Simguru’s twitter for hints every day
6. Clean out your cc folder. Yes, I know there’s broken cc in there somewhere, we all have it. (Though we’ll have to find it when the game is patched anyways...)
7. Level your sims up in gardening skill (not sure if this will help with floral arrangement, but it can’t hurt either!)
8. Make space in the garden for swing sets!!
10. Eat rocks
11. Spray RoundUp Weed Killer on stuff that isn't weeds.
12. Eat Sleep Rave Repeat
13. Start a hoard for when ur on Hoarders someday
14. Trade currencies through a foreign exchange brokerage
15. Go off grid and live in a bunker in the woods
16. Light a wasp nest on fire
17. Go looking for gnomes. I know they're real and I want some proof so ppl stop laughing at me
19. Listen to music and dance like a crazy person.
20. Experiment with new recipes in the kitchen.
21. Invent new drinks or ice cream flavors.
22. Write songs.
23. Visit the art museum or other attractions in your city.
24. Try out fun new hairstyles.
26. Play Cross Stitch World
27. Binge watch Bob's Burgers
28. Explore random locations Google Earth
29. Watch Japanese cooking videos on Youtube (Mosogourmet is my favorite)
Well that's what I'm doing, anyway.
Bob's burgers is so great!!!
Agreed on everything =D
30. Suddenly spend a lot more time on Twitter, obsessively trying to piece together as much info as possible
31. Look at toddlers in game and think "you must remain this small until I've seen you in the snow"
32. Think of the million-and-one things you'll be able to put on the calendar
Number 31!!! So true!
33. Look at toddlers in game and think “you must remain this small until I’ve seen you in an overly large sun hat splashing in the kiddie pool”.
