Food theft at the food stalls.

So the theft of food at the food stalls is getting a little out of hand three times in a row my sim had the food she purchased taken by another sim before she even was able to respond once she clearly was moving to grab the food and another sim came up from the side and snatched it.

Now, this wouldn't be too bad of an issue if it wasn't actually costing my sim any money but alas 20 simoleons of my sims limited funds were spent each time not to mention time as my sim has stood around waiting for her food on repeat. Her husband who got ordered his food only a few seconds ahead of her got his food successfully and is almost done eating.

Happens at the cafés too. It gets expensive, and in the case of my sim can be fatal to the thief.

Definitely this. Thankfully my sim wasn't trying to buy puffer fish nigiri as its a little more expensive than the regular nigiri which she was trying to buy.

When this happens to my sim I'll bring my grand master vampire along and have them be put into a hallucination, then steal their food every time whether it is at a food stall or a restaurant. xD

Happened to me at the Spice Festival a couple nights ago. My sim had his food swiped before he could pick it up. The other sim took it and placed it on a table, but (without me directing him to) before the other sim could sit down and eat it, my sim swiped it back.

Food stealing is ok when your sim is on the stealing end especially in rags to riches challenges, however, my sim was on a nice date with her husband at the romance festival and it really killed the mood for me. by the time she finally got her food her husband had already finished eating and had I made him stop eating to wait for her I'm sure his food would have been stolen as well.
