Seasons and relative vacation destinations?.. I love this!!
But I would change some locations..... Please read my ideas below
SPRING: Italy! or other European countries.... My favorite hipothesis: VENICE!! Sims could get in the Gondola (typical Venetian little boat) and visit the town built on the water, walking on his famous bridges ("Ponte dei Sospiri", etc...) and also taking part in Venetian fancy-balls (Carnival period); sims could go to the islands near Venice and at night they could enjoy themselves at Casino!
SUMMER: Africa! Safari, exploration in the wild nature, fierce animals, etc.... but also beaches and sea!!!
I love this idea! Wow, nice detail in the proposals. I personally loved World Adventures... I didn't do all the mazes and puzzles but did some of them... but I mostly just wandered around and enjoyed the different world atmospheres and all the attention to detail.

AUTUMN: India!
WINTER: countries of the North (Canada or others)
What do you think about?
A Mediterranean vacation sounds nice. It seems like one might be in the works based on the survey last fall and one of the images that surfaced. I'm guessing they might be planning to combine that with a cruise?

I like your destination ideas, but what if I want to flee from the coldness in winter and go on a safari tour, which sadly is only available in summer?

@FreezerBunnyCowplant, that's an interesting way to interpret this. But, I actually was thinking that each vacation spot would be tied to a season, so it would always be summer for the safari and winter for ice fishing. The places where your Sims live (Oasis Springs, Willow Creek, Newcrest, and whatever else they add on) would have variable seasons, but your Sims could go on vacation to a different spot any time -- leave winter in Willow Creek to have a summer safari.

I'd waaaaay rather have a Tibet/Nepal one in the snowy mountains for winter.. Exotic temples with monks and snow storms that keep you inside (unless you wanted to die by getting stuck in snow or something or maybe stumble upon the rare Yeti) and you could spend your time learning kung fu or meditating
Also I'd rather have a UAE middle eastern arabic ispired one over Indian.. With desert adventures on camels, camping under the starts in bedouin tents, belly dancing and spice/perfume/carpet markets etc and some exotic architecture!
I'd also rather have Egypt again than African safari.. I never played Sims 3 and I love Egypt. Pyramid exploration, tombs, curses and archaeology!!
I also wouldn't mind a tropical volcanic island destination maybe inspired by Hawaii or something with beaches and natives that worship the volcano god lol..
Or a Venice destination focused on culture and like ballet/opera/theater/renaissance art and perhaps with it's own masquerade festival
