  I have updated the thread to include the new MacBook Pros and iMacs. I'm going to assume that all future Macs will not work with The Sims 3 due to their graphics being too new but I will need some confirmation about it.

  I have a new 2017 Retina iMac, and The Sims 3 does not work on my machine *sad face*.
