I made a Gardening Day and had Gnomes so I could get seeds. The only one who could appease the Grim Reaper Gnome was the vampire.
Everyone except the vampire got struck by lightning at least once, most got multiple strikes. Gnome lightning doesn't kill sims and I got a lot of really nice lightning shots.
@Rae357 oh those strike shots are really pretty ha, I love the gnomes for some reason.

We had shadows and everything but I still like the shadows on days like this.
I don't know if it was glitched or if sims actually can get nauseous on the swings, I used to love the swings don't think I ever got sick from it but it would be funny for the sims. Also it went away and he didn't develop an actual illness so I think it was the swings, not sure.
Ah love the heavy rain.

He gave up his rather lucrative career as a tech guru and quit the rat race in San Myshuno. He bought a plot of land in the Salvadorian rain forest and has just moved in.
I cannnnn't. Was looking around the area from my sims home. Freezing cold, middle of the night and snowing and I'm just 'ooh nice' and happened to look over in the area and see this. Looks likes the beginning of a PSA for strays. ;-; I wanna adopt ALL the strays.
The atmosphere for Bridelton Bay in Winter really looks amazing. Things are always so quiet when it snows. I really love this picture, but also feels just a tad eerie in a way.
My Sim experiences a week full of Thunderstorms in Willow Creek, as a result her whole lot is full of mud puddles... She went outside and fell like 3 times in a row LOL
Then I paused somehow in the right moment when I heard the Thunder strike and this is what I caught! These trees are hit quite often, as a result they look completely black

Noticed that little thought bubble out in the distance and I wanted to know who was out in the mess.
They look they are up to no good distracting the player....lol.
Preparing for a day of family fun..
First I admit it's a bit difficult to get multiple clubs celebrating at once, I don't know if it would have been better to wait for them to spawn in, but in the end a little extra pausing helped. That, and then remembering to not have every club interact with the same objects smoothed it out a bit.
They were missing two members as I need to get more points to open the extra slots but I wanted everyone to come hangout and you know family reunion for Summer fest.
It was a little slow waiting for them to load in but it wasn't really lagging the game other sims not involved were moving fine, but families fighting over the same objects now that was slow stop moving lag there was a yoga class going on and they were totally fine. I'm not just being optimistic.
At this point I still hadn't had the foresight to take away some activities so they kind of fought one another on what they were going to do.
After a bit more of the Master's matriarchs showed up, aren't they just the prettiest great grannies you ever saw....lol.
Still wasn't thinking about stopping their activities, I was good with a pausing a bit here and there.
I had him make a summer craft for the greatest great granny...that is she's gen 1.
Ah that look...he's gen 2 I believe.
'Don't shun me because you can't handle pink like I can.'

The kids are kind of shunning their great something nephew and one of them is just his uncle he's the only one that gets to grow up as an heir.
This is about the point I took away some activities and the sims stopped fighting each other...lol yes it took me a while.
See now his great something aunt tolerates him.
So pretty...
He's questioning her for letting me plan the reunion.
Isn't that the way a long party and the kid is more energized than ever while his parents wish they could teleport to bed.
Yes...this would be the end of this day.
So simply put if each club has like one or two activities and they are different it helps to plan decently sized get togethers on the holidays for all the sims though if you're stubborn and behind on thinking like I am pausing just a tiny bit also makes them behave for it....it was fun all the same.

I can't remember what kind of weird holiday this was I made, but the Flower Bunny and lighting candles were traditions. The family invited him to sing with them as they lit the candles even though he's mute

I’m in the last couple days of autumn. The early mornings can be quite breathtaking.
