I believe there is a mod crashing my entire computer.

I tried to start up my game yesterday. But twice it crashed my entire computer. I took out my mods folder and it worked again.

All i know of doing is the 50/50 method, but i'm afraid of crashing my computer to death if i do this. So, is there any kind of program i can download, to see what mods are broken (Or maybe if i accidentally put in a Sims 3 CC file)? Is there some other solution? Does anyone know of any mods that are causing computer crashes?

There has been another hotfix released for MCCC mod since the latest version was released. Try testing to see if the issue still occurs if you test and remove the MCCC mod. If that helps with the issue, then download the latest version of MCCC.
The hotfix wasn’t necessary if you have installed the career module, but it may help your issue if you find that the game is working when the MCCC mod is removed.

If the issue remains, try testing by removing first the latest mods/cc that you had installed, which may be the cause of the issues.

Updating MCCC seems to have fixed the issue. I'll update if it starts crashing again. Thanks for your help @rosemow !
