The next day after school he meets up with the other girl from the park, Bree Watt. They have a nice afternoon chat down by the water in the commercial district.
He doesn't want to let go of Ofelia, though. She's still the closest to him and the only one who he's inviting back to his house.
Marco is out with Bree again. He's taking a risk with meeting her here at his friends' main hangout spot.
Who can resist this look on Marco's face as the moon is rising in the background? Bree sure can't.
As Marco and Bree are making out in dark corners of the park, Ofelia shows up.
Marco is trying to explain, but Ofelia knows him well by now and knows all of his charming tricks. Their relationship will likely be rather cold for a while.
Maria is giving the flower shop a go, with a lot of good help from Tony and Victoria. They've closed off the rest of the factory to focus on Maria's business today. They get lots of customers!
She's also built a new cake counter among the flowers.
They work hard all day and make lots of sales.
Once they're done, they go out and celebrate the first flower shop day with an evening restaurant meal.
They open again early the next day, after making sure everything is clean and pretty.
But Maria has a special agenda besides selling flowers today. Tomorrow is Love Day, and she is a romantic sim - of course she needs to get herself a date! There's a certain customer she's been laying her eye on, and he seems to be interested.
Marco is also preparing for Love Day. He's managed to lure Ofelia up to the roof of the factory to convince her she's still the most special girl for him.
Not only does she agree to go out with him on Love Day, but they end up messing around in Tony's bed downstairs.
When Marco gets home that evening, there are lots of people in the house. Maria has invited her daughter Beatrice and her roommate and cousin Marte, as well as Tony's girlfriend Lori. They're all eating Maria's delicious chili and listening to music in the kitchen.
It's exciting for Marco to talk to his half sister and cousin who live in San Myshuno, where he also wants to move when he ages up. The two girls have a spare room in their apartment that they'll be happy to let Marco rent.
Love Day arrives, and Maria meets up with her date for lunch. Of course she's brought him flowers from her garden.
Their date goes very well, he's a sweet and charming man who seems genuinely interested in her. They have lots of great conversation during their meal.
Marco and Ofelia meet up in the afternoon, at a restaurant in Magnolia Promenade. Marco has a beautiful rose for her, and it's not even stolen from his mother's garden - he bought it with his own money.
They too have a great meal together and get to talk about lots of things on their minds.
It definitely looks like these two have a relationship that doesn't break so easily.
Victoria is the only member of the household who doesn't celebrate Love Day. She's unflirty and ignores all the tradition. Instead, she chooses to go dancing with friends until late in the night.
When she arrives home, she finds her two older siblings drinking red nectar in front of the fireplace in the back yard. She happily joins them for a chat, and they all tell each other about their day. Tony has been spending it with Lori, and Maria has a good feeling about her new love interest.
But most of all, they're so happy to have each other. They're lucky to be living together like this and supporting each other both in business and in private matters.
You really make me want to open up a little bakery for my sims. I've never done a retail store before. Do your sims have to constantly bake all of the goods and put them on display?
@Slyvanas I mostly do bake everything, but sometimes I just restock. That's not as profitable, though. But I also find it more fun to have my sims struggle to make the things they sell, that way it feels like a real job for them. I've done lots of different retail stores, and bakeries are one of my favorites.
In the evening, Marco throws a party in the factory for all his friends. They have a great time dancing, blowing bubbles and chatting. When the sun sets, they move the dance floor to the roof.
In the end there is only Ofelia left. She's worried that they are going to lose contact when Marco moves to San Myshuno, but he tries to ensure her that they'll stay together and she can move there too when she ages up.
But San Myshuno it is, and soon he's all set in the apartment with Bea and Marte.
He's got himself a job in a kitchen, and is hoping to become a good mixologist with time.
Finally Bea has a roommate who's just as passionate about working out as she is. The two siblings venture off to the gym in Uptown together the first chance they get.
When they come home, they chat in the kitchen for over an hour. They have so much catching up to do!
One evening when Marte is tired after work and wants to relax, she hears some loud woohoo noises from the next door apartment where Pablo and Marco live. A little nervous because of her history with Marco, she goes over there to pound on the door. It turns out it is indeed Marco having a visitor in there, and Marte yells at him more fiercely than what seems fair.
Marco doesn't seem too bothered, on the contrary he looks amused by the fact that Marte discovered him. Like he thinks it's funny to hurt her feelings.
Marte tries to get at least a small revenge by practicing really loudly on her guitar. But instead it's Pablo who comes over. He doesn't seem angry though, and instead of complaining he sits down to talk with her, joke with her and make her feel better.
Marte feels very warm and thankful towards him, and there's a moment when they almost kiss. Maybe Pablo is the one she should be laying her eye on?
It's time to fill up the apartment with people and have a welcome-party for Marco.
A good opportunity for Marco to practice his drink mixing as well.
Marco spends a lot of time talking to Aria Keye, a girl he knew in his teens and is happy to catch up with.
When the party is over, Pablo decides to fall asleep in Marte's bed instead of walking across the hall to his own apartment. He doesn't try anything, just wants to sleep next to her. Marte finds this exciting and kind of romantic.
There's also another guest who doesn't seem to want to leave. Julissa Monroe is a brief acquaintance of Marco, and apparently has hopes of spending the night with him.
Marco doesn't need to be asked twice.
I'm not sure what she thinks of woohooing him next to his portrait looking down at them.
But when she sneaks out during the night, she throws an admiring look at the painting as she goes.
Beatrice is the only one who didn't have company in the night, and she's also the one who ends up cleaning all the dishes while the two others sit around with dreamy looks on their faces. Marco soon leaves for a date with Aria Keye, because he's a hopeless loverboy who can't contain himself.
The date doesn't last that long, they just sit in a park in Newcrest and talk and flirt for a while.
Midsummer's night is coming up, but the weather in San Myshuno isn't ideal for BBQing and bonfires. So instead of getting soaked, the three room mates are taking their chosen ones on a triple date on Windenburg Island.
But before they're halfway through their meal, it starts raining here as well.
Somewhere down the umpteenth glass of holiday punch, Marco stumbles into Julissa Monroe - his fling from the party. At first, she doesn't seem too impressed about Marco's drunken midsummer singing.
But then they find their spark from last time.
Marco follows her back to her place in the Spice District, only to discover that she doesn't live alone. She has a toddler daughter! The daughter's name is Julia, and Marco suddenly feels very sweaty in that couch.
When he's over the shock, he tries to talk to the little girl. She seems well behaved and quite cute! But Marco doesn't spend the night there.

Tony and Victoria have their own projects to focus on as well. Here Victoria is painting Tony and Charles while they are training to lie down.
Maria has a flower arranging table at the retail store too. They have done some changes to the factory to make a little flower shop at the front.
Maria hopes to start selling her flower arrangements soon, but she probably needs some more practice first.

He's timed this well with the sun setting.

After getting some things like laundry and exercise out of the way, the family enjoys a nice breakfast together in the back yard.
Marco is helping his mother in the shop today.
Sales seem to be something he does really well! Especially when there are young women he can charm into buying stuff.
In the end there is only Ofelia left. She's worried that they are going to lose contact when Marco moves to San Myshuno, but he tries to ensure her that they'll stay together and she can move there too when she ages up.
They have the birthday party at Marco's favorite place, the skating park.
There's a heatwave on today, so they've made sure to bring lots and lots of ice cream for the guests.
And of course everyone have to roller skate. Get that summer strut music on, Marco is becoming a young adult!
He loves it! He's going to bring the painting with him to San Myshuno and hang it in his room.
As the sun disappears so do most of the guests, and at one point there is only the family left. It's been a great party!
Maria is hardly prepared to let her baby disappear off to the big city, it will be so much quieter around here without him.
He's got himself a job in a kitchen, and is hoping to become a good mixologist with time.

Well, this gym trainer is very handsome!
His name is Derek, and Beatrice invites him to join her friends at the club in the evening. He shows up in the most muscle-flexing outfit ever.
By the end of the evening they are literally impossible to separate.
Marte is dating Pablo now. As a romantic sim she always invites him out on the most enchanting dates.
Beatrice is also in a good place romantically. She's kept seeing Derek, and they're getting serious pretty fast.
They're even planning to move in together in not too long.
But before they're halfway through their meal, it starts raining here as well.
Still, the three of them decide to take an extra drink together before they head somewhere else.
The night is still young, and they head into the harbor to have a game of bowling and some more drinks indoors.
They stay there for the rest of the evening and enjoy each other's company.
But then they find their spark from last time.
