I don't what to do, the quality is weird. The game is not smooth, but when I watch videos of TS2 the quality is better than in my game. Who can help me?
@Rflong7 my problem of graphics for the water is solved but my sims are always so ugly...When I watch videos about TS2 they are more pleasant to see than me in my game... I sought solutions but I didn't find.
Without seeing a picture, it's hard to guess what the problem is. And without knowing what the problem is, it's hard to give a solution or suggestions to find a solution
1. Could be your graphics settings are set lower than others.
2. Could be something causing lag.
Upload an image that showcases the problem to a site like imgur or tinypic. Then post the link to that image here.
What is your operating system? Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, or it is another type?
Are you on a laptop or a desktop?
What is your graphics card? My laptop has an nVidia Geforce GT 230M. There are 2 other main brands of "cards": AMD and Intel. If you don't know the name of your card or how to find it, let me know.
Which nVidia GeForce card do you have? There should be a set of numbers most likely followed by an M. Like 230M or 960M. And let me know if there's a GT or a GTX alongside it.
So it's not your graphics card being too low to support the game.
Your problem is likely that your card is too new.
When you open up the Graphics/Performance Options are you able to change your graphics settings? Are any/all of them greyed out? If you go from the neighborhood screen to do this, Shadows will be greyed out. You can only change that setting if you've loaded up a house.
This will let us know how "too new" your card is.
What settings are they sitting at on average? High? Low? Medium?
What screen size are you at? Did it let you set the screen size to at least closer to your monitor's size or is it stuck on 800x600?

What have you done once you installed it? Did you use the Graphics Maker? Do you have any lighting mods?
You upload it to a site like imgur or photoshop and then you post their appropriate share link in here in between img and /img tags.
You can't upload the pictures directly to here unless you make it your avatar and avatars are too small to really help with the issue.
