So I bought the vampire game pack when it was on sale, downloaded it & started playing a brand new game to try it out. Noticed I was getting a lot of bugs - skills instantly achieving, vamp burning moodlet even at night and others I can't remember right now. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
Anyway I played a few sims days when I realised that the plantsim challenge bar was also missing & there was no option to call Jasmine either. I thought right, this brand new game save is bugged & I'll go play my other family saves.
But NO, now my other saves were missing the challenge as well even though they had the seeds & stumps - this 🐸🐸🐸🐸 me off.
Anyway hope you guys can help me with this. Prior to buying & downloading the pack, I had the challenge. But had issues with the origin patch repeating itself & then when I got that working I bought the vampire pack. I then tried the move the folder procedure & repair the game to try to iron out the bugs, but I think I then lost the challenge (sorry to ramble). Oh and I have no mods/cc and I'm fully patch updated too.
Hello
Shut down your computer completely. Then restart your computer again. Log into Origin, and try repairing the game again. Then launch the game and see if the issues remain.
If the issues remain, try uninstalling and reinstalling origin and see if that helps.
Try again resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. This time start a new save game to test a new game before putting back the old folders To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated.
Start a new game and test to see if the issue is in that new save game.
Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or "options" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder. Test the game
I'll try doing all that again tonight and post back later. I hadn't fiddled with origin again, so that may help. It's a bit of a pain as it's chewing up all my internet data tho

Hello.
You're welcome
I hope that your issues have been resolved.
Hi guys,
Thanks for both your help/comments. Would you believe it, it fixed itself somehow. I was about to go and un/re-install origin & repair again etc, when I thought I'd just triple check again that it was still bugged - and it wasn't!
I think because I was online when I logged into origin & then opened the game, that it fixed itself somehow. I usually play offline as I don't have a great internet connection. Anyway thanks for the help!
(I've still got a ton of other bugs, but their covered in other threads so I won't bother you guys now)
