Alchemy Station Error

Hello. So...My Sim, townie Christopher Steel, mastered Alchemy sometime ago. But now whenever he tries to mix an elixir, he is automatically reset and he ends up outside. The station was working fine until the family moved; could that be it? I deleted the station and bought another, but it didn't help.

You might try a different lot or using the station in an elixir shop to see if that makes any difference.

If not averse to using mods, I would suggest NRaas ErrorTrap and Selector then uploading any script log reports that might accompany the error to our site so we can help you interpret them.

Unfortunately, no difference. I deleted it and bought it again multiple times, but all he can do is research alchemy. It's too bad, because I would like to cure his supernatural affliction in order to make him something else - it su.cks that the Sims can't be more than one supernatural being at a time.

Sims can carry multiple occult states at the same time. But it does require mod usage to make more than one state playable as under EA standard one occult state tends to win out over the others.

NRaas Hybrid covers this for most possible combinations no matter how the multiple states came about, even for triples and quadruples. But it sounds to me like you aren't playing with mods in place, so this info may not be extremely helpful.
