Planet coaster is a pretty heavy game . I have heard this from others too. I would not buy an AMD APU A series. If AMD you would need an FX 8000 series

    Recommended:
    OS: Windows 7 (SP1+)/8.1/10 64bit
    Processor: Intel i7-4770/AMD FX-8350
    Memory: 12 GB RAM
    Graphics: nVidia GTX 980 (4GB)/AMD R9 380 (4GB)
    DirectX: Version 11
    Storage: 8 GB available space

I agree. My boyfriend had a lot of issues with Planet Coaster.

They claim the game is optimized poorly on top of the high specs needed to run the game

6000 is 6 core. 8000 would be 8 core fx AMD. AMD also heats up more. These computer's your looking at do the cases have sufficient cooling? It's really important to have a good case wioth good cooling and room for upgrades

@chesterbigbird is an Expert computer builder. I believe she has also dabbled in planet coaster. She would be the best person to ask abut your upgrade and the games.

I do know people in here with an AMD A10 apu and they are struggling on the sims 4. This game is very cpu heavy for reasons unknown.

Planet coaster can get very demanding.
The problem is when you buy another pc you cannot just switch out the graphics card, You need the proper amount of power to run the card and the card would also have to fit inside the case. also would the proper slot on the motherboard
What is your budget? And where are you located?

Planet Coaster is very demanding, especially cpu I think. I can play it decently with only 28fps, till I get a little too big of a park. Though I believe its still badly optimized but more with higher end spec or at least it was wen I played it.

It was very badly optimized.. they have fixed it a little with multiple patches.
