Do you know how many towns in America are named Riverview? thousands (probably). I don't think that's a good idea, though. I wish I could rename the worlds/towns for all my games which I can in TS2's custom hoods. It's supposed to be a parody so I guess it only makes sense to make it a parody. But there are dozens and dozens of districts called Riverview.

well ... I am glad that they don't live in exact places. Now generic type places like we had in Sims3 is ok ... like China, France and Egypt. But I don't want my sims to go to say London, New York or Beijing. Major places like that are just too complex. Take New York ... it is actually a thirteen mile city. you have little china, little italy, all the burbs. There is no way to translate such a city into the Sims4 world. The neighborhoods just can't accommodate something that large.
Actually there is a Willow Creek, California There is a Bridgeport, in Connecticut also.
I like they their giving places their own name.
I don't think of it all as worlds though.
I like to think Willow Creek/Magnolia Promenade, Louisiana; Oasis Springs, California; Windenburg, London/France/Scotland/Ireland/Germany.
Newcrest I'm thinking N/S Carolina. Granite Falls, I'm thinking Maine, New Hampshire.
But when they do "World Adventure" Stuff I would like to see their respected names, Like Athens, Greece; Dubai, Arabia; the Bermuda etc.
I would like to see a Briarwood, Rhode Island.
to me it's like a Mash up of all of New England Providence, Boston, Newport some places up in Vermont, and a few New York Qualities.
its a city world. With some supernatural entities.
Windenburg is an interesting as the name 'burg' is common in some European countries. The largest I think would be Hamburg in Germany. There is also a Gothenburg in Sweden which could be a good name for The Sims, I mean, maybe the Goth family came from there
I don't want an exact replica of an existing city. This would be boring. I like that the sims team always makes their own towns and create their own planet with them. I like to imagine that there is a sims planet somewhere in the big universe and i control them with my game. The sims don't live in America, they live in Simnation. They use Simoleos and not dollars, they speak simlish and not english. This should stay so

I would like to see my sims live in worlds that are named after actual places from around the world.
Idk, I like having the sims world be different from the real world we have now, which is how they've kept it so far. The sims have a quirky, cartoony, surreal way about them that I have loved since sims 1.
If they were to try and create cities or towns in real life that would be too difficult to replicate even if its the size of Willow Creek or something like that. Im glad that they create their own worlds. It gives them more creativity to design everything as they wish instead of trying to recreate something that exists.
The closest thing we have to Lucky Palms is the Palms Casino. The deluxe version of the world came with a casino. Does that count?

It seems like most of the WA vacation spots are based off of real world locations. For instance, the Eiffel Tower can be seem in the background of Champs les Sims, which indicates its a suburb of Paris. El Simhara is a bit different though, as the Great Pyramids are located a bit further out from the towns and cities by them and the cities are much more metropolitan than in the game.
One random fact about the Great Sphinx, its so old that not even the Ancient Egyptians were quite sure who built it! It's amazing structures can last for so long, although the Sphinx has spent quite a bit of time buried in the sand which no doubt protected it from erosion and such.
What I was thinking was, there should be Sims 4 world's with names like Paris, Rio De Janeiro, Italy, Australia, New York, and other well known places around the real world.

That said, you can create your own worlds for ts3. I think someone is making London. Madness, if you ask me.

The awesome button feels kind of basic tho, I wish we still had the lol.
