Ghosts and Gardening

So I had a sim with level 10 gardening skill die. I brought them back as a ghost with the book of life and had them move in. As a ghost i had them tend to my garden and harvest all crops. I went to sell my crops and it said item not sellable. I put all the crops in the fridge and tried to have a non ghost sim sell them and it still said item not sellable. So, apparently Ghosts can't garden.

Are other sims in the same household able to harvest and sell their own plants?

Remove any mods/cc that you have in your game and see if that helps your sim to be able to sell the plants.

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

Ive done all of the above. Yes other sims in the home can harvest and sell the crops they harvest. I spent about 3 hours trying to fix the problem before I gave up.

Is your ghost sim able to sell the items that your other sims have harvested themselves? Try testing to see if he can do that.

Try saving your ghost sim to your library, then start a new save game file and place him into it. Then test by having him gardening and harvesting some plants. Then have him try to sell the items.

She can sell items harvested by other sims. Which I can work with. I can have her tend the gardens and have other household memebers do the harvesting. Thanks! I didn't think to check that!
