Game freezing and shutting down

I just had an issue when an active sim dies. Everyone stops what they are doing to grieve but they become stuck and I'm unable to direct them to do anything and the game shuts down.

Hello.
Are you playing Sims 4 ?
Sometimes having a large amount of items in the sims inventories and household inventory can cause issues when death comes. Remove some of the items from the inventories and see if that helps.

Sorry. Yeah I'm playing the sims 4... Ill try removing some items next time I play.
