I've been having a lot of fun since I started playing TS3 again. This is my very first meteor to kill a sim.

I actually really like this screenshot. Too bad I don't have any other sims to take over. It would be pretty cool to have Liam as a ghost!
After this happened I didn't save so I can go back two sim days. I'm not angry at the game. This is household has been so much fun. He even got abducted in the first sim week and that never has happened to me before. I always had to use mods to make it happen.

Well it's definitely not boring! I've only had a couple meteors ever, and no deaths because of them. And you I just had my first alien abduction pregnancy too.

It's too bad the game doesn't give you an option when your sim dies to just continue on as a ghost.

Awww, poor Liam. I've had 1 meteor strike and no deaths. The notification I got about a sim was early enough that I sent her to the spa ASAP (she was pregnant) to be safe. I'm not looking forward to more.

@TreyNutz Ha, I didn't even think to move him.. But I was kind of curious to see the chaos. I don't think pregnant sims can die in the game. That's what I hear anyways..

Poor Liam. I'm sad that you haven't had another sim for take care about child left behind.
I have had also too mortal death meteor-strikes on academy built in hometown. After that happened, I have reloaded previous Save and I have ordered to my sim to harvest the deathflower. Then meteor strike happened again in my academy and my sim gifted at Death the deathflower. Death becomed emotional, he is gone instantly to put deathflower into the vase and leaved my sim alive.

Death flowers are nice to have. He doesn't have much of a garden yet.

That meteor was worth a small fortune, though. Too bad you couldn't keep it and sell it. One of my Sims nearly got smashed in Egypt once, she ran away and then went straight back and got the rock. It sold for nearly $10K.

I had fun with it and I knew he was going to be pretty much toast. At least I only have to go back two sim days. It is a shame there was no one left to bathe in all that cash.

Liam is a fun sim to play but he won't be finding love in my game.. Just alien babies and planting plantsims. I don't think he minds being a single father anyways.

I've had a sim die and leave behind a child. I just made another and had them adopt the child lol Said child looked so much like the dead sim. This was a long time ago though before finding out about cheats and the ability to quit without saving lol

My first meteor not in general but a recent game one sold for 26,000 simoleans..my guy seen it through the telescope then they show you where it is on the map and you go pick it up. 26,000 The next one I got was same method but was only like 9,600 it was near the bookstore.

A meteor taught me what death flowers are for. my sim was gardening and wouldn't move out of the way. She offered her death flower to Grim and he took it.

Next meteor 2 sims got hit. One had a death flower. It took a while to get the ghost to eat ambrosia.

OMG! This made me laugh so hard, good thing I'm all alone otherwise people would think I'd gone crazy laughing like that at the screen. LOL

Liam.... I've had it in for him ever since he tried to flirt with the first Sim I ever played (she was cursed or something because she died 4 times each time causing me to quit without saving the game). She rejected him and he started spreading rumors around town about her because he was mad that she didn't want to date him (they were no longer friends). I just thought he was a little twerp and I make his life miserable if I'm playing in HS.

Hahah that is awesome! I had my first meteor a while back but it didn't kill any sims as they all ran out of the way.
I must say you game looks amazing o.O

Just pointing out I like your graphics setting.Sims look amazing when they are like yours and so do store hair and clothes.NICE! Also got to admit he makes a cool looking ghost all lanky and creepy.

@Celticgamer0 That's a good idea.. I tried aging up the child before the social worker came but no luck.

@CravenLestat You're making me sad that I couldn't cash in on all those rocks. At first I thought it was happening somewhere else in the world but neighbors started showing up at the fence line and freaking out. "uh oh... This can't be good."
Liam does make for a cool creepy looking ghost.

Meteors are a wonderful thing.

I have seen two, in my game before (and my sisters) - so not many. I find they always aim for the best targets - for example!

- the school. (over 20 dead children and teens - fun times)
- the hospital. (5 dead doctors - 1 woman who'd just had her baby)

Yeah :P Like, I didn't even know what to say!

You're telling me! I watched that school - the children walked out and died one by one. Omg, it was a scarring experience. They strolled out of the rabbit hole like they do at the end of every day - and then collapsed, and died there and then! Most of them went on their knees, begging for their lives. None were spared by the Grim Reeper It was my sister's game so she just ignored the message - and she ended up losing her twin boys! Both children! Also, like 3 of their cousins died. It was a complete massacre

Last night I made a different save file before the social worker showed up. I figured out how to add a sim to the household. A neighbor was still standing near by so I just added him. yay!

I actually have a mod installed that stops meteors. I don't like my Sims being killed off by the game. I am in complete control of their life spans.

It's by bluegenjutsu and called No Meteors Falling. Can't link where it's from but just google the moders name and you should find it.
