I Need Roof Bug Help Please

I posted in discussions but noone could answer for me - I have found a single lot in the game (Daisy Hovel - Willow Creek) with a hipped roof that has no overhang, please see the picture below. On the left is the roof in question and on the right is a normal roof with the overhang set to minimal.
Its possible to drag the roof overhang out on this roof too, and it will recede back in fully, except one step further than a regular roof to remove all overhangs. Try it out on the lot for yourselves if you don't understand. Please someone help, I really want this type of roof!
