    2. Laptop ( I do however love that we have a ipad) :)

      Yes yes yes! I actually really missed that in TS3. I really hope they bring back the different takeaways!

      1) Cars;
      2) Roads that your sims' cars can drive on without having to go through a loading screen;
      3) UFOs... different styles plus motherships that you can explore (without loading screens);
      4) Trolleys that your sims' can hop on to ride to other subdivision/houses/neighborhoods without having to go through a loading screen;
      5) Magical pan pipes that you can play that'll turn your sim into a satyr... who can then frolic in the meadows that you don't have to go through loading screens to get to.

      it's like a "simon says" game... you have to say, for example... walls/clothes/furniture with more colors/textures... or walking paths/bikes with bike lanes that you walk/ride to the neighbors... and etc.

      1) Dishwasher (and other appliances, such as trash compactor, washer and dryer, lawn sprinklers)
      2) Video game consoles
      3) Better selection of overhead/ceiling lights (something more modern, PLEASE!)
      4) More one-piece, modern looking toilets (there's only 1 and it's the cheapest, most break-prone toilet in the game)
      5) Laptop computer

      Is it cheating if I put up another set of 5?

      1) More (many more) fireplace styles (and some with chimneys attached, so they can run up the side of the house)
      2) More indoor/outdoor game opportunities (ping pong, soccer, basketball, football, softball, billiards, darts and so forth)
      3) Table-top easel that can be carried in a backpack and set up anywhere so Sims can paint whenever the mood strikes
      4) Small microscope and backyard home telescope
      5) Portable electronic keyboards
      Edit typo in item 3 -- "... so Sims can painT", not pain :p

      1.) smaller telescope (the observatory shouldn't be our only option.
      2.) sprinklers you can upgrade to auto water
      3.) display cases with enough shelving for displaying collections AND fridge & bookshelf style storage.
      4.) tomb building tools (I loved building haunted houses in sims 3) and hidden door bookcase
      5.) seasonal lot markers

      Honorable mention: spray paint can so I can tag & paint like in 3:University. Didn't know if miss it so much ...
