I've spent an inordinate amount of time with your technical support on the phone. I've been elevated to Tier 2 and have spent over 7 horus on phone with EA since the rise of this issue (09/09/2014 to be exact). I've since then created 3 help cases, one of which has mysteriously vanished from the "My Cases" area under account management on help.ea.com

Anyways, long story short I've recreated the extensive list of files that I originally uploaded and I've also documented all that I've could.

Reference to my personal request for help on (the) other Answers.Ea - answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/Crashes-Nightmare-Please-Fix-With-thorough-documentation/m-p/3533649#U3533649

Note to parties of interest:

I've done extensive testing and searching; Countless users are experieincing similar difficulties, and the
most of them started showing after the sep 9th - check your forums and you'll see. It is not my
equipment - My system is top of line, custom built by a certified technician (myself) and stress tested with industry standard tools and soft-sets (Therefore I can vouch for the complete stability of my system).

It's not my windows operating system - All other programs & games I have and run operate perfectly, even higher stress softwares such as Civilization V, Skyrim, Photoship x64, etc run without hastle.. It cannot be my system, it cannot be my software, it cannot be my security. Everything else produced and maintained by any other Company besides EA runs without a hitch.

I've included a small library of files besides this one.. And I'd appreciate it if your answers are not
uninstall. Please don't ask me to re-install windows. Please don't ask me to run SFC or Scan disk. I've done everything except re-install windows (clean), which I refuse to do because my system plain and simple works when it comes to non EA product.

Things I've done..

Game re-install (2x through origin, 1x manually/latest)
Repair (3x)
SCF /Scannow (cmd) (2x)
Scandisk (1x)
Test with event manager - test with task manager

Create new local admin account - played new game and still crash

Disable all Origin in game functions

Windowed mode
Full windowed mode
Low graphics options (all)

Delete unused sims from household management (not in town sims)
Delete sims game folder in Documents - started game - injected saves - still crash.

Patched TS4.exe to 4 gig (saved copy of original executable for backup troubleshooting purposes)

Disabled tutorials.
Disabled DEP (Data execution protection) through advanced sys properties and command lines.
Disabled windows firewall and other msse protection suites such as malware removal
Disabled all startup programs and run TS4 with nothing else running (diagnostic startup >> msconfig)

Force run Origin as Admin (in properties menu - permanent selection) in installation directory.
Force run TS4.exe as admin (in properties menu - permanent selection) in bin folder.
Tried new game on new local admin
Tried new game in normal accounty
Tried removing mods - Tried removing mods with new game and tried the same on my (new) secondary admin acount with new game.
Manual uninstall - remove registry, unistall game, clear bin.
Uninstall - change default origin install directory from A:/storageDrive to C:\Programs

Further.. I've a 3rd party Taskmanager monitoring TS4.

Game crashes when

Changing lots
Saving
Exiting
Exiting and saving
When ram consumed (documented in Taskman logs) is between 1.65 - 1.75 private memory
consumption-
Play game 10-20 minutes (related to memory consumption)
Click "Manage Worlds" in escape(d) menu.

----

Only recently have I been able to produce an error when it crashes (after run as admin configurations) and found this...

The above is proof of memory exeuction / leak error. How do I know this? Windows uac, DEP, firewall, and security software is turned off.

Further in this post I am including Event Manager logs that show crashes exactly 10 minutes apart to the second...

Do you have 2 GTX 770 in SLI? Do have disc emulation software installed?

1x 770 @ 4g vram - latest drivers system wide (beyond just graphics). Emulation software is in fact installed, but not utilized for TS4 - I launch through origin.

This is a tough one.. your pc is more than capable, Have you turned off all background tasks?
    Checked your temps?
    Is windows up to date?
    i7 6700K
    16GB hyper X fury
    MSI GTX 1080
    MSI gaming M5 mobo
    Evga 750 supernova
    Corsair hydro h110i GT
    Corsair obsidian 750D
    500GB SSD
    6TB Seagate Barracuda Pro
    LG 34" ultra wide

    Temps:
CPU - Liquid cooled with temp ranges of 23c - 54c at height of load.
GPU - With reference cooler (dual fan) ranges 30c to 62c at height of load
RAM - Corsair dominator platinum's are impervious to heat.. (better be for 270.00$ for 16g)
    2x HDD - 120mm fan assisted cooling in front of HDD cage - 11C - 23C
SSD - 120mm fan assisted cooling in front of HDD cage - 8c - 27c

Ambient case temperatures 20c - 44c - noted that I have excellent ventilation with push from bottom and front panel and exhausting diagonally along the mother both where a fan pulls from the rear panel and two pull from the top of the case - thus air is flowing over components in the most efficient way possible.

Windows is and always will be up to date including all drivers that I actively utilize. I am a VERY 🐸🐸🐸🐸 TECH (What I do for a living).

I've also eliminated all background tasks (including windows processes) except for my Cloud-storage soft-folders, trillian, Displayfusion for triple monitor support and advanced configs, snaggit, nvidia apps, Samsung magician, Razer Synapse, Logitech Gaming soft, and Plex media. While that might seem like a lot.. you must realize I have an expertly built, maintained, and updated machine. I treat my computers like garage phreaks treat their hot-rods.

That is a tough one. I'd look at overheating/dust bunnies in the computer, background tasks and, if that isn't it - a full hardware diagnostic test is in order.

That machine should fly with the game and, it isn't so, time for step by step trial and error to find the problem.
Life is what you make it so, make it good.

M8, if you read my posts.. I am pristinely an4l with the care of my machine! Beyond that I must mention that there is no problem associated with my machine. It is EA's problem. In fact I can attest to this because of what I can run smoothly and for hours on end with this machine.

Examples of things this box can do:

Photoshop with no lag across three 1080p monitors.
    Watchdogs - Maxed graphics w/ 85+ fps...
Civilization V - Turns later in the game take less than a minute.
Can run 10+ EVE online clients w/maxed settings / no lag.

    And...

Sims 3 with all expansions, all store items, and a database worth of user cc with maxed out settings and hugely populated worlds - load times for initialization of game are less than 2 minutes while there is virtually no lag in game. If there is lag in game it is not because of my machine...

Moreover I was hoping someone could tell me something clever - like.. delete unused sims in current world...

I have run out of idea's.. I have only had one crash so far and that was when I alt tabbed out of the game.. other than that everything has been smooth. I have the GTX 670.
I try and think some more and get back to you.

Hmmm, I've tried the 4gb patch. No luck, though.

the biggest mistake EA made imo was to make it 32 BIT 64 BIT can read all memory 32 bit can only read up to 4GB and most gamers now have minimum 16GB

hey @Xennation have you tested the game files? tested a new game, reset files, perhaps start with tray folder my documents/electronic arts/sims 4 or the whole folder

also see if going offline line helps, origin client - origin/offline. i keep off just because i have little faith in origin creating a stable platform

Why people say: "this is a tough one?" Have they all been brainwashed to believe the game is perfect ? After we have seen this same APPCRASH in the last 5 years did you guys never even once came to think "maybe this game is defective". I mean... THIS IS OBVIOUS! Stop being clowns believing in the fake excuses they used in the last 6 years. Its not a driver, directx, dxdiag, whatever they can make up to blame your end.
This game is and was defective for the last 5 years. They didnt spend time trying to sollve this SAME AND OLD problem because they can sell it to idiots like you and me. But this is the last time. EA Games you will never deceive me again!

I have been checking other forums and there seems to be many people having problems with low frame rates (fps) with SOME games with the GTX 770. Several people have upgraded their power supply and this seems to have resolved some of the peoples problems. This card requires 230 watts alone. Graphic card manufacturers give card power requirements in watts and the power supply gives specs in amps. Using the formula P=I X E we can find that the video card alone requires +20A alone (230W divided by 12V equals 19.16A). That means the +12V rail MUST supply 20A at +12V to the video card. If your power supply has multiple +12V rails it may not be providing enough power to the card. I have posted several times about all power supplies are not created equal. When building a high end system you really need to research ALL components. A power supply with 2 +12V rails may be rated at 30A for +12V but that may be only 15A on each rail. What this means is the +12V wire to the video card may only supply 15A to the card (this is an example). Some psu manufacturers list higher specs on unnecessary voltages to boost total wattage. Also the quality of the power supply is important because the voltage regulators for a 40 plus amp +12V rail will require good components.

For this reason please post make and model of the power supply you have. thank you

Check, check, and check! None helped. I always run offline btw cause origin blows...

I am running two rails to the GPU w/modular 1000w power supply by EVGA. The issues with amp/volt is nonexistent. The gpu is supplied by two 8 pins (or one 8 and one 6) and the voltages when monitored are right on mark according GPU chip maker PNY.
Also, note that my PSU is rated 1000w and is Gold rated for efficiency with onboard v-regulator. All my gear except the CPU are top the line. See, I know it isn't volting because I play far more intense games that consume almost all of Vram and they run without issue. You must realize that TS4 is more CPU heavy than GPU. Also, it is also more Mainboard Ram hungry than Vram hungry.

TO all those who have tried to help.. I found a temp solution. Delete all unused Sims that are not placed or living in town in "Household" management. When trying to remove them I had to save every time I deleted 10 or so cause the game would freeze and crash in the removal process. However, after several cycles of removal the game runs mostly well...
