I looked under the Sim category for Ariel and not much came up.

So I made her.

I used purple, light green and a darker shade of green on most outfits.

Eric has been the worst to make, and has taken the longest.
For instance, I found pants that have the cuff at the end and about the same length but there are no boots in the game that go up that high without it looking odd (it messes up and you see the pant and the boot at the same spot) so I opted for what he's currently wearing. I tried to keep his outfit the same(ish). His lips are the color of his skin (never noticed that before) so I put some lipstick on him

I will work on Melody before Wednesday.

No, that's from Showtime.

No the hair is from Showtime EP. I don't see why people don't like that EP that much, I think it's pretty good. I like the songs and the ghosts that come with it!

Wow I have showtime and didn't know that. I have so many hairs from the store,eps and sps I don't know what I do have.

I liked Showtime, alot. The hairstyles and the outfits were very cute.

That'd be me. My niece was playing today and she created the sim and moved izabel into her new house. I shortly noticed that the hair was one I had never seen before. I liked it and it was in Supernatural.

Normally, I dislike the hairstyle I gave Ariel but it looks really good with her red hair.

I like it but err Doesn't Ariel have a green fin? You could recolor her bottom to green.

Thank you. I searched for a good couple of minutes for a hairstyle that looks similar to Ariel's hair.

Yes, she does. I made it a light green with a tinge of blue in it.

I like it the way it is, however I will be making a few changes before I upload her as a mermaid.

I was a huge fan as well when I was growing up. Ariel was my favorite princess. Thank you for the Rec!

I love everything about your version of Ariel, except for the hair. :-o :oops:

That hair is a very hard hairstyle to pull off, I generally hate it on most sims anyways.--Though I will admit that it gives her a nice, edgy young adult Ariel 'look' that's nice.

--I might've gone a bit darker on the shade of red hair, with some lighter red highlights, I'm really picky about my redheads, LOL!--I them!!

Though I have to say, even though I don't like that hairstyle, that hairstyle with that shade of red just looks perfect together and is something that I wouldn't have put together, but I'm glad that I've seen it so I can use it on my edgy sims! So anyways, I have to say that, that was a great choice on creating Ariel with your own twist!

Ooh! And!! It might look great underwater! Like her bangs are floating. :-o That would be nice!--Still, not my favorite hairstyle for her though, again sorry! Lol! I'll have to see it underwater and in game, maybe I'll love it. Who knows? I'm a bit fickle.



Everything else is great! Beautiful color blue on her eyes; your version is lighter than the cartoons a bit and I really like it! And her eyebrows look like the ones in this close up! Pretty accurate, I'd say! Great job on one of my top favorite Disney princesses!

The only thing that I agree with is that Ariel's pink dress was the biggest disaster in Disney Princess Dress History!!--The only thing that I liked about that dress was that it was elegantly off-the shoulder. Otherwise, it was hideous. :x It somehow managed to be both gaudy and plain at the same time, ugh! :x Buuuuuurrnn it!! :twisted:



It looks nicer in this picture, but it's still ********* to me. :-o

I wish it had been more ocean themed, maybe not this exact color or design, but some seashells or an ocean themed dress would probably have been much better!--I do like the design of this dress, perhaps in a different color it would be perfect. Either way, we got stuck with the ugly pink one. :? (No offense to anyone that likes/and or loves the pink dress! I apologize if my opinion offends. )

So, I guess I disagree with the sketch artist about Ariel's hair. Though, she is the only princess that they could have gotten away with doing a random color like blue or green etc....So, I could see someone seeing that as a missed opportunity.

I think red hair is the prettiest shade of hair known to man, imho. It was absolutely THE perfect hair-color choice for King Triton's most passionate, fiery and headstrong daughter.





She wouldn't be the same any other way, her hair color is rare and she's the only one out of her family to gain her mother's beautiful red hair, which made her more precious to her father and the kingdom of Atlantis.

She'd be my favorite kid too. Just look at that face!! :-o :oops:

Your Eric looks pretty good!! It's difficult to get it super close without hairstyles that match, but I like the one you chose for him! I'm using it for my sexy sim Don Juan right now! :-o It's a great looking hairstyle for male sims.

Thanks, I was actually contemplating doing 1 or 2 of them. Choose one or two and I'll make em into Sims. I may try the King, but we'll see. I am doing her daughter Melody as well.

Glad you like her, I was trying to find a close up picture but I couldn't and there are many where her eye color is different.

That hair is gaudy (I hate it) but its the only one I can find that looks remotely like hers. Hint, hint EA Lets see some disney mermaid inspired hairs!

I loved Jasmine and Aladdin and Jessica Rabbit was just awesome.

Ariel was my favorite of all of them though.

I love mermaids and am constantly fascinated by Atlantis.
