Admittingly, I should have done this a while ago. However... I simply love the Firenze family, and instead of responding after I caught up... I... read all of your other threads. ^_^
Gosh, University Life looks AMAZING. The second I get money, I am SO getting it. Can't wait to see Vael and co. take college by storm!
I like seeing your take on Uni, CK. I love the game so far, Im using one of the townies in Aurora Skies as my test sim for Uni. She reached the head of the Rebel social group after her first term and as soon as she returned home, she was offered a job as an art appraiser. After her first promotion she got this art scanner as a career object and she has to scan art work as part of her job requirement. Tonight I am going to send her back for her second term, I wonder how many terms it takes for a sim to graduate.
I'm loving your Uni pics CK. I can't get the game until Monday, so seeing these pics are really easing my PEPS. :P Are you planning any sort of story like you did with Supernatural or is it just wing it and see what happens?
I want to continue with the Firenze's into University, but I'm waiting until sure Twallan's mods are updated. I hope my saved games don't give me any issues. The new game I'm playing now seems fine.

 That's a lot of reading. The Supernatural one was really long.
I am really enjoying University Life. I still wish for two more Social Groups, but that issue is seeming more and more minor now. I like social networking already and I'm only partway up the skill ladder.
That title totally goes against my Uni principles for TS2.
Sim University's dorms are very similar and a bit bland in the color pallet. And I had plans for creating new ones, but I think I will leave them as they are. The only editing I did was to add restrooms to the first floor. I like the idea of living in the dorms the first year and trying different living options the next year.
My sims are now starting their second year and I'm having them rent a house.
This is the reasons why I'm leaving EA's dorms as they are. Leaving a somewhat blah environment makes a better one that much better. Their new living conditions are so much cooler. I'm fairly excited about the next term.
Ohh... a snowbow.
I guess the contrast in environments did it. More color in their new digs.
I put University objects, including Major Specific, objects in the house.
Wow, someone is playing SimCity without server issues!
I'm looking forward to see what University Life is like in this house.
I just need to round up some roommates. The place cost $4000
Their parents are loaded though, so it's not a big deal.
The snow is building up fast and it's time to go to the student union to meet other students.
Oh no, those random clothes are breaking the law.
We have our first roommate.
And she is attracted to Lolly's brother. Even better!
I wasted time trying to convince one of Shark's jock friends to join, but I think the game made her a Barista and won't allow it.
The New girl is called Jerrie Sterling. She has no social group, but I suspect she will be a nerd.
I'd like to play her now, but I'm holding off until the Story Progression mod is updated for Uni.
Playing the Rackets is good practice though.
I'm editing the Uni town here and there and I have an idea for a apartment conversion for one of my modern apartment buildings.
I believe Jerri would be a good catch for Shark.
They are attracted to each other and she's cute for a Type 0.
I'm not all that crazy about some of these classes out in bad weather.
And it's snowing and snowing and snowing and snowing...
It's pretty though.
I had Shark and Lolly try to gather up some potential roommates.
I invited them back to the house.
Have you graduated already?
Uh, never mind. I don't know what's going on there.
Actually I'm seeing quite a few sims around town in robes.
OK, we have a problem. I can't get the option to ask anyone else to be a roommate.
I'm only allowed one for some reason.
Lolly's art class.
Another guy that I tried to get to move in.
He's a rebel too.
He's also in the same major. I think Lolly's found her man.
Like putty in her hands.
Uhm...Ok.
Sim courtship has just gotten a lot more interesting. :-)
Like so!
Better.
OK, Lolly has a boyfriend.
And he has very hairy legs.
Yes, you are lucky, my friend.
Shark is lucky as well.
Hey, what about a courtship, a few dates and...
Never mind.
Well, this is her third year at Uni.
It's about time.
I can't believe I haven't been playing frisbee.
He's an art boy for sure.
What was his name anyway?
I really miss the cafeteria cook. At least she will have high cooking skills when she graduates.
Shark volunteered him for workout training.
Multi-talented. Way to go, Lolly. He hung around and played while they slept.
And then made his way home.
Lolly and Sherri get along well.
Oops.
More foul weather educating.
I wish I could add sims to my household.
Must be some difficult theories being taught here.
Jerri has been interesting. I'm not sure if she's even enrolled. She never goes to class. One thing is for sure. Shark is taking her home. I want to add her to the household and he will probably marry her.
yea i wonder if thats a glich that some o the uni sims dont go to classes??? bc ive seen about 5 sims in my game that dont have the rebel nerd or jock tags an i have never seen them go to classes....there jsut there....i guess jsut to make interesting converstaions for our sims ...tho in my game that jerry girls thows an epic party...
Love your screenshots and captions! "Blackened salmon?" "Shut up..."
I'm a little nervous about going back into the game; my newest save started glitching out when I was trying to tag a wall. Likely related to one of Twallan's mods; I've heard of problems with Error Trap resetting Sims so I may have to pull that and see if I can play. :?

Fun must be always -- Tomas Hertl (San Jose Sharks hockey player)
I think Im having more fun watching the roomates and other University residents than playing my sim. She is living in a sorority during her second semester and Ive noticed that her roomates love to walk around in their underwear, its really funny. During her first term I noticed a sim who was a paparazzi. In her second term that same sim is not longer a paparazzi but is one of her roomates and her professor in all of her classes. Only in the sims!
I don't know what's up with Jerri. She never goes to classes. And she just putters about the house. But for some reason she decided to go to class with Lolly.
Another outdoor class in the rain.
There were other sims about that were not in the class either. Maybe they were there to model.
It didn't cross my mind to ask Jerri to model. :P
School spirit.
They went to the coffee house afterwards. This elder gentleman was their giving a presentation.
Jerri was eager to pick up some knowledge.
Everyone settled in for the night.
Burglars were a surprise, but why not? There are plenty of colleges near or within areas with high crime rates.

I noticed that too. One time she was a paparazzi and the next she was living in a dorm.
More like Grumppa, he couldn't wait to start one of his rants.
I'm getting tired of them, and I wonder if they were the reason I couldn't have more roommates. There are seven sims in this house and I could only have one roommate at Uni. Perhaps there is a bug at work.
Anyway, enough of them--Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle Bill--get out!
Grandma Racket is driving the limo.
With that done, I went to Uni in edit mode to convert the house into a dormitory. That might be the only way I can get a houseful of sims.
I had Shark invite Jerri to Twinbrook the next morning.
Lolly spent most of her day at my Simscura consignment store working on her alchemy skill and making elixirs.
She need to go to the greenhouse to get more ingredients.
An elder passes away while she was picking plants.
Grim likes things tidy.
A quick snack before getting back to work.
She can finally make Invigorating elixirs. Those should come in handy. It's the best energy solution in the game to me.
To home and bed.
Shark already has access to the Sports Agent career. I signed him up.
Jerri arrived a few hours later.
Lolly greeted her.
She invited her to move in and Jerri accepted.
The first thing to do is take the aptitude test because she's going back to University with them.
She didn't score well. Gotta work on that logic skill.
I work on handiness as well. She can be a technology major, which only benefits the Military and Law Enforcement career, but she branch into Forensics. I might as well get her some simfu skills if she is going to be a cop.
Shark stopped by after work.
"There's my girl!"
Aww, that face.
Shark could benefit from Simfu too.
Ow!
Wow, he skills up fast. University has certainly benefited him.
He was twice as fast a Jerri.
Lolly was back at elixir making.
Now for the aptitude test again.
Better but not in a way that would earn her more credits. She still only earned six.
Some late night meals and it's off to bed. They are leaving for Uni in the morning. Lolly converses with her mom.
Oh whoa! That's not what she had as sleepwear while at University.
This makes me believe she's just a clone of the original Jerri.
I hope there won't be another Jerri running around Uni.

Lolly does a lot of running to get to class.
I saw these sims come running out of the building I wondered what they were up to.
This is quite a trot.
I put in one of My Late Night custom apartment buidlings. I have no idea how they will work in the University Town.
Another sim was hanging out front. I think she's Paparazzi.
So story progression moved sims into my apartment building.
There is about five of them in there.
There may be NPC's living in the rabbit hole apartments.
Anyway, I was prepping a house for future use by Lolly and Shark.
It has all the major specific objects in it.
I had to extend this part to make the ping-pong table fit.
Reminds me of Art History during slide shows and videos.
I wonder if EA did actual sketches on marker-board for those. They look really authentic.
These machines has nothing to do with Shark and Lolly's major. I just experimented to see what they do.
I believe the mascot is jealous.
The only editing I've done to their dorm is to add restrooms on the ground floor.
I don't care for the outdoor classes.
It just looks odd.
And this end the first year. I had them go relax at the Java hut.
I put in a stage, pianno, and guitar.
One of the Uni students gets a shocking surprise.
Lolly can create larger murals now.
Time to go home?
I thought they would go home on Sunday. :P
Wow, back in Twinbrook. I'm starting to miss University already. Hey the summer festival is set up.
Back to their grumpy old family.
Can ghosts float down through the floor now, or is this a glitch?
I've trying to track down her grave. She's not a family member. I wonder if their was something very evil connected with her death.
That's a nice touch if ghosts can travel this way now.
She woke up the parents.
I had Lolly try a town protest rally.
They didn't stick around long. It was only a day before the were packing back up for University.

It arrived late post Thursday. One term with a test sim and I'm exhausted with so much partying. She's doing fine though.
 That's a lot of reading. The Supernatural one was really long.

More of a hipster nerd.
Four more roommates to go.

Burglars were a surprise, but why not? There are plenty of colleges near or within areas with high crime rates.
This house already had a burglar alarm installed.
Quick burglar + slow campus police = predictable getaway.
But he's on a bike!
That's just ridiculous.
I don't think he should get off so simply.
I sent Shark to track him down.
He lives in a dorm?
Meanwhile, the cop is chatting up Lolly.
The dormitory is closed to outsiders, but he can look in the window.
Oohh..Shark likes what he sees.
Hotness!
Busted!
Diplomacy might be better than a fight.
Cool, he got an option to be invited inside.
There are only two girls and that guy here.
Odd. Where did the burglar go?
It couldn't have been this guy. They had different names, unless the game now allows burglars to have aliases.
Oh well, so much for that adventure.
Shark and Lolly awoke the next morning to letters announcing passing their Finals with A's.
They spent the last day cleaning up the house. I needed to make a copy to the house bin, so I needed it cleaned up.
Jerri wasn't much help. She would clean up one chore and stop. She used to clean the whole house.
Not in the mood, I guess.
It's time to say our goodbyes.
They will be back shortly, but I'll miss Jerri. It's not guaranteed that she will be roommate when they return or even that they will see her again.
Aww, she took a photo.
I'm going to invite her to Twinbrook.
We'll be back.
I noticed that too. One time she was a paparazzi and the next she was living in a dorm.
I already want to go back.
Grandpa was waiting out front.
More like Grumppa, he couldn't wait to start one of his rants.

Yay! Let's go back!
Save it for University.
Time to go!
8)
I believe this house will be a lot more enjoyable now. It was a bit lonely with just Lolly and Shark and Jerri as the only roommate.
Lolly's phone started ringing immediately.
The house is now a dormitory. The job board was put in the lot's edge.
Apparently Lolly is in the mood to sketch.
Great, we have roommates now.
OK, the female to male ratio is out of balance.
Be nice ladies, he's here for his education...I think.
Although I believe Cheri Chigote thinks he looks like Bill Gates--i.e, money.
Cade Macklamoor agrees.
That flirty trait of Shark's is going to get him in trouble with his girlfriend Jerri.
Alright, lets find out more about them.
I'd better put that away.
Oh, time to go to the Student Union building for the meet and greet.
Jerri gets the Fast Lane scooter. I didn't buy from Origin and missed out on the new scooters. I still want them. :P
Swag for Jerri.
And boring...not many interesting sims there. I'll be better off spending time with the new roommates.
I had to use the MoveObjects cheat to move it.
Gosh, this thing gets a lot of mail. To many love letters and gifts being sent.
I finally get to see what this things does. Jerri is a technology major.
I see it's upgradeable, so let's do it now to unlock more functions.
Yeah, I might have to change that trait.
I wonder how his handiness skills are. I think he's going to be Mister Fix-it around here.
Going back for more, Sarah?
Couch Potato?
Lolly's a rebel.
There ya, go.
Rec area, and probably party room.
I think this will work out fine.
I believe Sarah is going to be the source for much comic relief.
I had to squeeze three beds in here since there are more females.
Late night made service? I thought he would come the next day.
Good, at least one of them is neat.
Alright. I think I'm going to enjoy this.
Jerry is carrying double the credits that She starts out early while Shark and Lolly are still in bed.
This is the side exit, which is convenient. Not everyone needs to go out the front door.
You can choose specific skills to build with this thing.
As long as you don't fry your brain.
I gave Cade a makeover, now I want to do the others.
I like it.
Cheri.
Attitude flare up.
Forgotten in seconds.
Oh gosh, what's her name? Eh, she's busy with Jerri.
And Jerry is off again. She has another class.
Oh boy, Sarah Parker.
She's like another Amy Bull.
I kept her colorful, but toned down the insanity.
I also got rid of the childish trait. It gives my sims the run bug from playing tag with them.
I got rid of the evil trait too, but I think it's still lingering in memory.
Something I didn't know about Jerri--she has a past.
She has two lover interest from before she met Shark. I invited them over to give them the bad new.
Actually I could have done it using the Smart Phone.
:-) I think I'd rather see this though.
Sorry, boys.
Lolly dismisses them. It's good to have muscle around.
Thanks. :-o
