On the Bridgeport Save, I was able to put things back together and put it in my game with no trouble. I wasn't in it for too long but so far as I can tell everything's working fine. 8) Thanks again!

Sorry to hear that. I'm not sure what the problem could be. Did you add the file from PT1 to the Folder included in PT2? I have never tried anything like this myself, so it's a bit beyond me.
Thank you so much CK213. The save works after you change out one file. You need to remove Bridgeport_0x09ffe3d7ExportDB and replace it with the other file Bridgeport0_0x09ffe3d7.nhd Once this is done you simply drag and drop the "BridgeportShare.sims3" save file into your saved files folder and whalla!

I'll copy your post over to the thread where she mentioned her issue, though I'm not clear myself on where that Export DB file is.
You sent 2 zip files. one was titled "Bridegeport Share PT1" inside it has (Bridgeport Share Instructions) which I didn't need but thanks and it has (Bridgeport_0x09ffe3d7.nhd). The other zip file was titled "Bridegeport Share PT2" inside it has (the actual and ONLY FILE YOU REALLY NEED called "Bridgeport Share.sims3) This is where you have to go in and change out the file. If you take a moment and look at other save files from past saved games you have played, you will see that the file needed to end with .nhd BUT inside your save file the file ended with ExportDB Its really the same file if you look at it, just the end was ExportDB and needed to be .nhd Does this make since cause it was easy to simply delete the file "Bridgeport_0x09ffe3d7ExportDB" and replace it with the "Bridgeport_0x09ffe3d7.nhd" from the first zip file. Then once you have switched them out you simply add the whole folder "BridgeportShare.sims3 to your saves folder. I hope this helps. You did good. If this switch was not needed you really only would have had to upload the PT2 zip file that contained the .sims3 folder.
BTW I found Maya! She was at a nghtclub. Sure wish I had the revised one though cause she looked a lot more like her. I think it was due to the new hair you put on her. Now all I need is the Seinfeld Cast and the Friends Cast ;-) I will need a new save if you add them ;-P BTW I LOVE you pics of the new consignment shop with the circus items from the store! But that proved absolutely false.
This is my Love Shack community lot by the way. It's a private cabin on a quiet beach in Bridgeport. Andrea sneaked out while he was sleeping.
He came home much later than I thought he would, his mind on the new girl in the building.
I wonder if Andrea went home a started blogging.
Because Lawanda is on to Cairo now.
But wow, it's not to difficult to patch things over. He does have some aspiration rewards working for him though.

Oh, that's just so wrong. BAD sim I had bought a new store Premium Object that added a new dimension to Cairo's cheating ways.
Cheater sims are getting a nice arsenal of weapons in this game: Eye candy, No Jealousy, Stone Hearted, Master of Seduction, Attractive, Above Reproach, Meditative Trance Sleep, Clean Slate, ...and now, The Hypnotizer. I felt bad about having avatar me cheat on one of my favorite sims, but to also use this thing on her...it felt a bit evil. :twisted:

I had slime ball, avatar me spend a nice pleasant day with his live-in girlfriend at Bridgeport's local nectary, picking grapes and making nectar.
They had dinner there as well. The evening was still young so I had them head out to the dance club for drinks and dancing.
But, he's a slime ball heart breaker juggling several love interests and sure enough, one was coming out of the door while they were heading in.
I put him in crisis mode and started with the apologizing and distracting friendly socials..., but I realized that I did just give him the Hypnotizer. Why not use it?

The cool thing was she was still a love interest and the relationship points had risen. I had him beat a hasty retreat before she came to her senses and started slapping him around again.

I think he'd better stay away from her for a couple of days until that betrayed moodlet wears off. :twisted:
I'm also gonna have to give the Stone Hearted reward to the live-in girlfriend. Hopefully the relationship will survive until he finally earns that Heart Breaker Lifetime wish.
Oh my gosh I love your stories. It has inspired me to do the same kind of situation with one of my sims. She is a fireperson and is currently flirting with all 3 of her coworkers. Its kinda fun to just sit back and watch. They all have the flirty traits.
I hope you write that novel you mentioned at one time. I am sure it would be fantastic if your stories here are any indication. You have a real knack.

Ever since Gens brought about the reputation system, I've been struggling with my jezabels and cassanovas. How many concussions can a simmie take?!? I'll try loading up on some of the LTRs (and possibly the Hypnotizer) and see if I have better luck.
Even with the Hypnotizer, juggling as as many Love interest as Cairo has is beginning to feel like work. :P
But wow, I don't think I have ever laughed as hard at TS3 than I have tonight. Lots of pics covering it.
Apparently some sims can't handle the hypnotic effect.
There was no way she was going to look at that thing after that.
But I had enough of all the accusations and face slapping, so I figured it was time to cut the others loose and just focus on one love interest. Forget the Heart Breaker LTW. Next time I think just handle one or two at a time. So it was "Let's just be friends."

A problematic one was Marina Prattle. Story Progression assigned her a job in the nectary, but for some reason the "Let's just be friends" social was not available while she was on the job. And she was always on the job. So I had to switch lots and make her give Cairo the heave-ho.

The shoe is certainly on the other foot now.

Good thing the mummies were all creaky and slow.
Now I have to work on getting them a fun group of friends to have decent bachelor/ette parties.
I'm getting attached to Lawanda. She's been through a lot a deserves a happy life.
She started out as the girl who lived across the hall in his apartment building.
And working as the Art Museum's mixologist.
All she has to do now is survive Cairo's bachelor party.
I hope you do play them again! I like their story, it's a crazy romance for sure. I'd like to see if Cairo can remain faithful through his bachelor party.. that just seems like disaster waiting to happen for a Sim like him.

I played some more and I think it's time to put the drama genie back in her bottle. There were still some more break ups to go.
A problematic one was Marina Prattle. Story Progression assigned her a job in the nectary, but for some reason the "Let's just be friends" social was not available while she was on the job. And she was always on the job. So I had to switch lots and make her give Cairo the heave-ho.
"Sorry, love.
You've just become too slimy and icky for me."
The shoe is certainly on the other foot now.
She seems happy.
Now for a switch back and invite Clarice Price out to dump her...near the dumpster. Perfect setting.
And speaking of hearts ripped asunder...

Oh, and that's why Clarice confuses me. She the same hair as Marina.
It's funny seeing him an emotional wreck for a change.

Epilogue: Cairo and Lawanda in Egypt
They survived World Adventures, but just barely. Cairo was nearly crowned king of Egypt by Lawanda's pick axe.
And Lawanda nearly had a heart attack from being proposed to.
They were also chased around by three mummies.
Good thing the mummies were all creaky and slow.
Now I have to work on getting them a fun group of friends to have decent bachelor/ette parties.
I'm getting attached to Lawanda. She's been through a lot a deserves a happy life.
She started out as the girl who lived across the hall in his apartment building.
And working as the Art Museum's mixologist.
All she has to do now is survive Cairo's bachelor party.
If I ever get around to playing them again.
